I keep returning to this video to show people how to clean their foam lance. This should be in every detailing article for how well it’s covered. Great job!
Pretty much the main maintenance step that I swear by is rinsing the bottle and running water after your done. Helps product not gum up the orifices and metal gauze.
And of course O-Rings as well. Especially if these are used heavily and are stored in areas of high heat like California sheds.

Chris_Audittr2108 sounds lucky on the timing then. Can I say that's why I haven't released a video for weeks on end? 😂😂

I soaked the gauze in Killrock for 24 hours and the lance works great. I bought 4 new gauze’s off eBay for £3.59 so will just stick a new one in next time to save the faff.

Great tutorial Luke..........I do wonder how many people have just bought a new one because their one wasn't performing well or not working at all. Hard water area here, so have to clean regularly and replace the gauze filter when needed.

Miles Drive Thanks Andy. Yeah I bet quite a few have just treated these as disposable.

At 2:41 in the video that part when I’m unscrewing is literally impossible to come off, no spanner can seem to take it off

Top video. What’s the name of the part that connects the pipe to the gun? Mines broke but don’t know what it’s called to buy a new one.

Mine is not sucking soap for foam canon bottle? You think cleaning that little steal wool will fix it?

      I guess it would work.
You can buy descaling solution at any supermarket. It's with all the cleaning products.

I have a foam cannon similar to this that I bought on amazon. I'm trying to remove the pin to the spray pattern adjuster and it won't budge

You weren't joking about the parts being tight were you. I decided to drill the holes out under the black section. They were 3.5mm so made 2 4mm & 2 4.8mm to see if it will make it more foamy. Been thinking about that for a while so your video was timed just right 👍🏼
