She literally became famous because she’s a dancer 😂 even if she’s never done ballroom she’s still way more experienced than all the other junior celebs. She’ll be able to pick up all the choreography pretty fast since she’s done dance for more than half her life

Kenzie started when she was 2 and she was training intensively. She danced longer than some of these kids been alive! Heck she danced longer than a lot of the pros here.

She's using any word except dancer to describe herself and her sister. I still don't think it's fair at all that she's on this show. She's an extremely versatile dancer, it doesn't matter if she's never done ballroom, she's been dancing her whole life in pretty much every style you can think of, she will adapt to ballroom very quickly, and be way ahead of the other contestants. Not fair if you ask me.
She's been dancing longer than pretty much all of the junior pros (and probably longer than some of them have been alive.) And she's in the oldest couples, so...

Yeah, she USED to be a dancer but she is CURRENTLY a singer. Does she have an advantage over other contestants? Of course! However she hasn’t kept up her dance skills and it is something you can lose if you don’t keep up your training... let’s cut her some slack and enjoy the show

Kenzie shared on her live that they were suppose to use the picture from when Maddie was in her iconic leotard and wig for sia with the rainbow on her face but they quickly made a change because they didn’t want to leak out to everyone that Maddie is a dancer and Kenzie used to be so they made sure Kenzie said Performer instead of Dancer cause they for sure know we know and Kenzie is gonna get a lot of hate

I do think Mackenzie had an unfair advantage. She gets dance experience: technique, being light on her feet, understanding music beats and terms quickly. Also she spent years learning dances in one week and that would give such a huge advantage for picking up choreo.

Mélissa Carmen nope. Elliana got chosen to audition in the first place because they knew she had a background in ballroom. Elliana had consistently trained in the style for years, Kenzie never trained in ballroom. It was a good thing they didn’t even let her audition because she hadn’t done ballroom up until the show.

kenzie definitely knows she has an advantage and so do the judges guys- they're probably giving her lower scores bc of the past dance experience. I'm guessing she isn't allowed to mention dance moms so that's why she's not talking about any previous dance experience she has bc of some contract issue
nessa she barely had an advantage though. the only thing is she could count to music/pick up choreography fast. take it from someone who’s done all styles and has talked with all the adult pros. Emma has said before that being a dancer in the past barely helps you in the ballroom world. It’s so much different, so you’re really on the same playing field as everyone else.

Guys she hasn't even trained as a dancer in a while, she's lost some of her flexibility (which is completely fine), and is focusing as an actor and singer. While she is older and has more experience, don't forget many other celebrities on DWTS also formerly had some dancing experience. She introduces herself as an actor and singer because that is what she was always focusing on and what she wants to be known as.
