As I started watching your video, I thought "This is going to be another fake looking boring build with not enough land" When I saw the transformation after you added everything, I was impressed with the beauty of this build. Please give us an updated video on this great tank! This is an EXCELLENT first build! Absolutely beautiful!
+Karlitos Con K The fog is made from water, so it is safe for all animals. The fogger in this video using ultrasonic waves to create a mist, then it uses a small fan to push it through a tube, and into the vivarium.
THIS IS THE BEST BUILD I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH THE MIX OF FROGS AND THE WATER FEATURE AT THE FRONT ITS LIKE A VIVARIUM BUT A NATURAL HABITAT FOR THEM AND THE FISH I LOVE FISH AND ESPECIALLY SHRIMP YOU ARE NOW MY FAVORITE PERSON!
Natural looking setups look much better and most of the time are better for the animal, I don't understand why most people don't keep their pets that way. This looks awesome
Adrian Alob Yeah that's what people think, but it's actually the opposite, it takes much more time of research thow, but once you have a bioactive setup going it cleans it's self, literally, the bugs and bacteria eat the animal's waste and the plants clean the water if you have a semi aquatic setup. If your interested check out bioactive groups on Facebook or read about it online.
bangasou12 If you have bugs that eat the waste and can be eaten by your pet then yeah then their great. What reptiles do you keep? Ive seen dart frogs, salamanders, toads, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, ace monitors, savannah monitors... all in bioactive setups
Franklin Michael I'm thinking about getting a pet and I'm doing some reasearch. at first i thought that having a virarium will be to much work Have any recommendations for frogs or reptile?
Wow such a cool viv! You could probably put some lizards in like Chinese water dragons, green basilisks or caiman lizards. Your frogs are probably the happiest in the world!
Jacob Temple Uh no. Not to be rude, but... A frog in the wilderness will likely be parasite ridden/ and could be eaten alive any moment. What's great about these vivariums is that every possible thing can be perfect for them- such as humidity, temperatures, and terrain. When made correctly these frogs can thrive, like they clearly are in this video.
+Zion Adams okay, let's say humans instead, I have dart frogs and feel bad for them sometimes. If a human got sent to jail he will be in misery, but in certain cases better health than than some people on the outside. So even though he could be doing better in prison he wants to be free and outside. But he can't.just like the frog who wants to be free but would be healthier in captivity.
+Zion Adams do you think if he set this tank outside (imagine if this was outside) and opened the doors and let the frogs out, what do you think the frogs would do, be in 1 space for the rest of their lives or free?
Jacob Temple Unless he lives in the rainforest of South America- they would dry out and die within minutes lol. And dart frogs don't wander "free" around aimlessly, they congregate in areas that suit their environmental needs. Frogs are very different from people, so that is a silly comparison- amphibians/reptiles don't feel safe in huge areas, they become fearful and the stress alone sometimes kill them. Smaller enclosed areas helps their mental state tremendously, how do you have dart frogs and not know this?!
For a first vivarium, this is really sharp. I am curious how the Deerfern moss did. Also, next time, I would use silicone and attach peat moss to the areas that the spray foam was exposed. It will facilitate root expansion, and look much better. Great job, from a guy who has built literally entire frog rooms of tanks like these.
@JohnGibeau could you please be so kind as to explain what you mean about the moss to silicone attachment on exposed areas & it facilitating in root expansion? I hope to find you well, I know it’s been 3 years. Take care.
@@littlepigboy Where you can see spray for an you essentially cut the shiny bits off and cover it in silicone. You can then drop peat moss or any other soil on it which once dry, looks natural and allows roots to climb up and moss to grow on.
@@littlepigboy watch a serpa design video on it. You don't want to show exposed foam right so cut off the parts that are shiny, then apply silicone and add substrate. That way it looks natural and also plants can grow on the substrate
by the title I thought everything was gonna rot or explode or some shit like that, but this just looks amazing! And it's your FIRST vivarium! Nothing but respect, man
Look up Eriks Paludarium climate control. Not the best I've seen, but awesome control. Also, look up HD video of my vivarium. I think that is the best I've seen. Evil Genius97 Pac man frogs probably wont really use it as they prefer to stay buried in one place but I love to see people like you and the person who made the video who try to provide the best possible care for their animals. Good on you
On a friends account, but was watching the video. This... Is gorgeous. No one can deny that. There are a few problems i see though depending on what your goals are... If you intend to breed your frogs, it will probably never happen. Fish will eat eggs / tadpoles more than likely, and the water frogs would compete being much larger. As well, if the water frogs are true amphibious and reach land, they will most likely compete and over power your dart frogs and kill them. That's why it's never a good idea to mix frogs. As someone else has mentioned here, filter setup should be accessible as well so that it can be cleaned. Otherwise... This is perfection when maintained...
BEAUTIFUL ! PEACEFUL AND GREAT FOR FROGS AND FISH ! Just a couple of nice cold beers and Wooooooooooooo.......GOD BLESS....Thanks for sharing this video ! OUTSTANDING .....AWESOME .......AND GREAT MUSIC TOO....QUIET.....
Wow! Pretty awesome. I am into reef aquariums so I can appreciate anything that is well put together inside a glass box. Absolutely beautiful. Makes me want to build one for my office
Truly AMAZING work! You should consider maybe seeing if you might make a few extra $ making and selling a couple of these! With the attention to detail you show many would be interested in owning something so beautiful to house their beloved amphibians!
I second the motion! How much to set up a Florida native 4'x2'x2' snake paludarium? I have the snake, heat pad, and the glass cage/stand, nothing else. I'm thinking with the snake not being of the tropics, I might have to avoid a lot of misting or moss to negate any respiratory issues, but some sort of bush/bonsai, wood/rocks, fern, background with vines/roots, emersed/bog plants, and waterfall pump on timer, yeah, help with plant specimen selection, appropriate lighting, and set up, that'd be nice.
As a human, I would be thrilled to live a place like that. The frogs are in paradise. How did you build the rocky terrain portion? Or did the terrarium come with it? Absolutely awesome!

Maxwell Dacre It is natural the x wing naturally ran out of fuel
Benjamin Rapp Or a miniature Yoda chilling on a rock👍
Benjamin Rapp *perfect!*
Anthony why not both!
Around the frogs, a perimeter create.
This is your first vivarium?? All I can say is WOW!! You did a fantastic job.
This makes me realize how shitty my aquarium is

You are a naturally talented terrarium /waterfall/pond person! WOW, and this was your first attemp? Great job!
Stunning... Simply beautiful, peaceful and realistic...
That is truley amazing only a frog could dream of a more comfortable place, and that would be all that but without the glass protecting them from the rest of that magical jungle. Truley amazing.🐸
