Beautiful video .. if Jeremy has it all, professionalism, voice, is very handsome with eyes that confuse and exudes elegance. I love your body language.
Added to my favorites! Great job. He is always so graceful. I remember a scene in the 6 Napoleons when he calls down Mrs. Hudson going out of the sitting room.. he is almost dancing as he goes along the hand-rail. Or when he takes off his coat in THe Devil's Foot. SO graceful and fluid.
This is so beautiful as you have emphasised his natural grace and elegance which would have made him a professional dancer. His charisma and magnetism created a very special Holmes for which we are eternally grateful. Thank you!
Oh, what a magnificent and extraordinary man! Reducing the speed of the film to slow motion was a grand way to illustrate the natural graceful way Jeremy Brett moves as he goes about. This fine gentleman possesses such an elegant style in his demeanor matched by none. I think I'm in love! I can't wait to get to Heaven that I may meet him!
There is no other Sherlock Holmes from me than Jeremy Brett. But I think we should resist over-idolizing him in view of the very difficult life he led. Such a unique actor with unique gifts!
A difficult life indeed. He endured a childhood speech impediment, rheumatic fever that damaged his heart, and the sudden loss of his mother in a tragic accident. That he was able to overcome all of it, and still produce an enormous volume of work - while suffering from bipolar disorder- is worthy of far more than anyone's judgement. He went from Hamlet on the stage to Hollywood, played Dracula, Freddy in My Fair Lady, did a better Maxim DeWinter than his mentor Olivier, and then capped it off with an incomparable Sherlock as a swan song. All of this in 61 years. Nothing else matters, or needs to be said...
@Qwerty123 Hollywood tried to make another Cary Grant out of him, and it almost worked. He had a heart for the stage tho. They asked him to be James Bond & he screen tested, but ultimately turned it down. JB said in an interview that he wanted to go back to England. SO GLAD he chose Sherlock over Bond! His life story is as interesting as his Adonis good looks.
I only wish BBC leadership had the foresight to facilitate Jeremy Brett performing in ALL of the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle...

2024 and still forevermore remembering...

What an actor and gentleman
No one is a better Sherlock Holmes than Jeremy Brett.
Homes personified...truly. Wish Sir Doyle would see Mr Brett as Homes
He was so elegant. The coordination of fluid and expression, so intriguing, & passionate and intense.
the most impressive human I have ever met in 53 years of passing through ..... and my bias is normally towards the Eastern part of the globe.

A gentleman of the highest order! Wish they still made men this way!
Very good point ! :)
Master of his work...❤
Indeed, a master craftsman. Should have been given a theatre knighthood.

@starchildstrider 💓💓Still watching his movies during quarantine!
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Performance art at its finest.
The way you slow down the picture to the music is so magical.
LIGHTNESS,SOFTNESS AND ELEGANCY.THREE WORDS WHICH DESCRIBES JEREMY BRETT.
What a beautiful compilation..
This is indeed a lovely tribute to the best actor ever to portray Holmes, nay to Holmes himself! Cheers, my friend.
Perfection in male form is wonderful..Roger Federer in top flight and seeing this homage to Jeremy Brett....he was divine and Olympian as well....
Ah yes, that almost theatrical elegance and grace, energy and majestic demeanour.
He must have been walking to unheard music (unheard by us).

@Qwerty123 He has worked with many of the very best! That is why I don't understand BAFTA's refusal to honor him...

Why not over idolize?!?!
I am a huge fan of your videos
Fascinating music, fascinating Jeremy Brett
🔍Jeremy Brett's graceful body moves and facial expressions are reminiscent of the Silent Era. I would have loved ❤ to call him Valentino. 🎥🎬
He is my Sherlock Holmes
The song is called "Autumn rose by Ernesto Cortazar."
thanks
Jeremy Brett is ULTIMATE SHERLOCK HOLMES!!!
ALL of HIS Prior actor training BROUGHT HIM TO SHERLOCK HOLMES. MEANT TO BE!!!!!
I only wish BBC leadership had the foresight to facilitate Jeremy Brett performing in ALL of the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle...
If only his heart and mind had held up long enough to do them all....his goal!
Beautiful video! I would appreciate if someone could tell me the name of this beautiful song. Much obliged!
