Really loved the Christmas video and everything you guys (and gals) put into it. About the ending though, it isn't really sad-sad, it IS a happy-sad thing and a right proper ending. Actually reminded me of the end of the Godfather trilogy where Michael Corleone is sitting in the courtyard and he drops the orange. Well done!

A Christmas treat! I listen to a few comedy podcasts like 'Shagged, Married, Annoyed', 'Off Menu' etc you know award nominated blah blah blah. They sit on my phone waiting to be listened to. Then there's this weird podcast called 'Breaking Beard' and the moment I get the notification saying there's a new one I'm on it. If a week has gone by without a new one I'm missing it. Why?! I honestly don't know. Could it be that the Yorkshire accents have a soothing effect on my southern self, reminding me of my Doncaster born n bred father? Is it because I love Adam's channel? Or is it the banter and lack of structure between these three blokes has a certain magic to it? Could be! Anyway, whatever the reason great work lads, have a great Christmas and thanks for the laughs!

I think the best advice given to aging white men when it comes to anything having to do with pop culture (especially music you don’t like to listen to) is just to say to yourself: “Oh, I get it: It’s not for ME.” and move on. No need to tax those badly needed neurons on why women think WAP is empowering, except of course that it’s written and sung by women about what they want sexually, instead of the eons where these songs were written and sung by men about women. Again, if you disagree agree with that, then see the phrase up above and it’s got you covered. 👍🏼 Incidentally, 2 Live Crew made a boat load of cash back in the 80’s and 90’s with ‘Me So Horny’ and yes, caught a lot of flack but also did a lot of good for the music industry and censorship in hip-hop. It’s a culture and the fact that women are breaking records with how much money they’re making in that industry is incredibly impressive and empowering. I know I’m going to catch some sh*t for this but honestly, it’s meant with respect and love (and just a smidge of piss taking on the aging white males😏).
I'm on my own today without the kids so glad to have this show to keep me entertained!
