EDIT: I found a service manual for our AC, mukhang same tayo rin ng board. F6 means compressor lacks phase /anti-phase protection. According sa service manual, check wiring, else, change board. Mukhang tama hinala mo na IPM chip ang problem. I'm no aircon tech pero after looking the service manual and have some idea on this stuff, this makes sense! Hi. F6 usually means Outdoor Ambient Temperature Sensor Fault, pero I experienced this sa TCL split namin. Despite IU says F6, pinalitan na temp sensor and ayun no dice pa rin. To confirm, swapped board sa isang AC namin na same lang, may tama board according sa tech namin. Hopefully same as yours lang prob.
