The fact that you could smell it on your friend at dinner tells me it’s strong and I love strong perfumes!!
It is different from the Original, but it's similar enough that you can tell they're both Jimmy Choo. I would go and try it out in a store to see if you like it before you take the plunge! :)
Great idea with the dryer sheets, I had one from body shop I ended up using for a room spray. Glad you're ok with the angle. Kai perfume is one I've wanted to try, I will have to check out the Jimmy choo. I've been stuck on angel for years now. I did take my mom in law to have perfumes made one year for her birthday, It was so much fun! Hope your week is awesome
I don't have very expensive taste in perfumes THANKFULLY because believe me, my beauty collection makes up for it. One of my favs is Vera Wang Princess. Wore it on my wedding day. So maybe that's why it's a favorite❤. I've never heard of Ghost. Something I probably need to check out. Great video❤

For that Vera Wang perfume, I'd swap it or host a giveaway on fragrantica! That's what I did with a fragrance I didn't favor that was a gift. It alleviates the guilt of wasting a perfume that you don't like!

I also just bought Estée Lauder modern muse Nuit, I think you’d like that one if you find it somewhere at a discount! Is your miss dior EDP the newest formulation?
I used to have the EDT of Issey Miyyake and I liked how it smelled, but I didn't like how it smelled on ME! I ended up decluttering it because it really didn't suit me. I've never tried Modern Muse Nuit but I will definitely give it a sniff next time I'm in my local dept. store! I'm not really sure - I think my Miss Dior is the newest one...my other half got it for me about 2 years ago.

He’s just bought me a 200ml tub of Prai neck cream after I said I loved the little pot that came in the m and s Advent this year. It’s not something I’d ever have bought myself or asked for as I think it’s expensive and can honestly say it’s made zero difference, I just loved the formula and the scent. Postman delivered it today so he’s in the good books. (husband not postman lol)
Aww well - he must be good with gifts overall! That’s so thoughtful! Sometimes, it’s the littlest things that make us feel good about our selves. Even if you see no difference, if putting it on makes you feel nice, then that’s all that matters 🥰
I love perfume as well. I have too many and am on a no buy again this year. It is so hard to mot buy perfume. I like expensive perfume too but i do find some cheaper ones that are really nice on me. I don't stick to one perfume as i get sick of the same one all the time.

My perfume collection has got slightly out of control... it's probably worse than my make up collection. I have always enjoyed perfume since I got my first bottle of Chanel No 19 in my late teens, but the passion grew when I moved to London nearly 12 years ago and had access to wider choices of brands. I have a really wide variety of different types from lighter colognes and florals, to woody to gourmand and a variety of others. I am not especially loyal to any one brand and lean towards buying from niche brands (4160 Tuesdays being my favourite) as I like the idea of not many other people having the same one as me. Although having said that I have a number of Guerlains in my collection, albeit not their most famous ones. Am wearing Apres L'ondee today. I am trying to rotate through my collection a bit more to get use out of each of them, but I could do with a bit of a declutter. Even though I find keeping them in their boxes and mostly tucked away in drawers to keep away from heat and light keeps them from deteriorating, I don't think realistically I will ever use up all I own and some should be passed on for someone else to enjoy.

Would be interesting to see which ones I would choose to replace if I did, but I think I would prefer not to go through the trauma to find out! I very rarely leave the house without perfume on and don't feel properly dressed without it, whereas I quite cheerfully head to work sans make up every day - make up is more of a weekend and evenings out pleasure for me. I even have a perfume I will put on in the evening at bedtime (though I don't remember to do that every night). It's Caldey Island Lavender. I read about it in Luca Turin's perfume guide (fab book, although the source of much inspired spending) and loving lavender anyway, I really enjoy it as part of a wind down to bed routine.
Same here! I just feel more put together when I wear it. And I think because of that, I really appreciate when somebody else smells really good. If I’m stood behind somebody in a queue and they’re wearing nice perfume or aftershave, I just stand there happily enjoying the scent 😎 I would looove to do that but I’m allergic to lavender ! 😅

I like a lot 212 vip rosé by carolina herrera.. stunning! Also chloé the one which cream color.. And also la vie est belle and trésor from lancomé and sofia by sofia vergara are my favorite to use at night when i am dating with my boyfriend.

Speak to a fragrance ambassador in a department store. Yes we are sales people but most of us are trained and fragrance is our passion. A good ambassador will build a good connection with you, get the sense of what you like in general and show you fragrances that fit that bill. I do not recommend buying fragrance before you try it on skin, just because it is popular/expensive/what your best friend has, does not mean it will work for you. We are all individuals and we all have different skin tones and types which will affect how your fragrance smells on you x

Here's a tip - spray the CK perfume onto your ironing board just before you iron your clothes. Less faffing around than the dryer sheets :-) x
