Looooove this kind of video!! Seeing the behind the scenes of your small business and how you operate it is so awesome! I’m a fellow artist & been trying to work out the logistics of starting a small business myself for a couple years but I’ve had a lot of road bumps 🥴 I think 2024 is definitely the year for me though! Finally have finances settled & some equipment bought & my son will be a year old in April so I can start sending him to daycare so I can get back to work. Thank you so much for all the content you create, it’s so inspiring and informative! Also, couldn’t help but notice you saying you’re from Tennessee, I am too!!
Hey fellow Tennessean! I’m glad you liked the video ☺️ there are so many little road bumps that people don’t expect with running a small business- let alone life’s little road bumps and derailments that come along too! 😅 But you’ve got this 💪 Fingers crossed for you in 2024!!🎉
Not dumb at all! May be because I'm old, but I find this long-form so much more engaging that the 7 second attention span on TikTok or IG Reels. I know I repeat myself in your comments, but your video skills continue to sparkle. Thanks for taking the hours I know were required to plan, create, edit, and post an 18 minute video. Maybe your husband can man the boom mike. 🙃🙂🙃 (My sister lives in Johnson City. Woo hoo. Was just down there in December.)
Great video. Glad to see I'm not the only one who struggles through the process and puts things on upside down 😂 Great editing, great shots, really fun to watch.
How do you not get air bubbles when applying the laminate!!!? I always get bubbles 😢 you’re awesome! Been following you on IG for a while. Nice to see how much your art has grown.
I thought it was great! I do want to ask about your pegboard with all the great accessories. I’m turning one of our rooms into a pottery studio for my wife, and that would be such a great addition. Thanks, and congrats on your growing business!
Thank you! My peg board is from IKEA 😊 it’s a pretty popular one too, so if you feel like saving a few bucks, you might be able to find it on fb marketplace too
great video - being an artist is tough and running a business is tough and being both seems impossible - so glad things are going well and looking up - btw isn't it amazing how cats can always find a new place to make their own in like no time at all? -
Probably depends on your brain! I like how detailed the Reilly method was for learning, but the Loomis method has also been helpful. I’ve kinda melded the different methods to suit me and my drawings best at this point 😊

This is great, keep it up. Remember that you're running a marathon and not a sprint with your work
Appreciate that! Definitely feel like a slow runner sometimes😂
