I wonder what the lifetime subscriptions are like for other programs from a price point. I do like that there's a rolling transcript. Sometimes when I'm listening, words blend together and I struggle with finding the vocabulary. Thanks for the information!
Hey Allaysha, we've got a bunch of comparison videos coming out soon stacking Rocket up against others, so you can see all the differences, including price of lifetime packages. Thanks for watching!
As a Latino, it’s always been embarrassing that I’m not fluent in Spanish. I’ve gone my life at a mostly intermediate level, but don’t have anyone to practice with regularly. I’m hoping a focused software can help me get over that hump.
@@jammersanimovieblog I’m half Puerto Rican and half Honduran. I used to be pretty fluent in Spanish growing up but when my only Spanish speaking side of the family (my Honduran side) moved away, I started to lose that fluency and now, I can barely talk to them. It makes me sad because my grandparents are getting older and one has cancer. I want to start learning again so I can actually converse instead of constantly asking “how do you say ___ in Spanish?” and feeling left out of the conversation. Trust me, you’re not the only one. But I believe we can do it! :)
I have been living in Latin America for 12 years. My wife and daughter speak only Spanish. But I am not fluent. And I want to know how you got on with this. Because 3 levels sounds like a class that will help you go on a vacation but not go beyond intermediate.
Rocket Languages seems like an excellent course! However, I think that it can definitely get pretty expensive for most people, compared to some other programs like Rosetta Stone. I know that Pimsleur was one of your favorite language learning programs and that they are both audio based, so how would you describe the differences between the two? Which one do you prefer?
Good memory on the similarities between Rocket and Pimsleur! We actually have a Rocket Languages vs Pimsleur comparison video coming out in the next couple weeks that should help call out some of the more subtle differences (though as you mention, both are really similar). Thanks for watching and your support!
Eduardo likes Rocket Spanish Review. The interactive audio lessons sound very appealing. I'd like to improve my Spanish to interact better with my native speaking relatives. Thanks for the thorough review.
Rocket Spanish sound very interesting and will give checkout there free trial. I started already on another online Spanish course and finally starting to feel things are sinking in so will probably stick with it for awhile long and get some basics down. Then I'll be better prepared for one of the paid Spanish course and I like the interactive aspect of Rocket you described. I now that I starting to make some progress I find the listening aspect as the important part of learning and understanding. I was watching some Spanish TV shows, but they talk so fast I could barely pickup a word or two listening. I recently stumbled in to hearing some Spanish Rap music and that is really helpful. Because of the rhythms the words are easier to pick out, and many of the tune the lyrics are available for reading and translating. So if Spanish TV is too fast check out some Spanish Rap the words are easier to hear.
After watching all of your videos for language courses, I definitely want to try Rocket!! I feel like this course is really going to help me reach fluency!
Nice review. I am a visual learner and if, I don’t remember exactly how a weird is spelled I kind of have an idea in my head. That’s why despite Pimsleur being one of the top rated language programs would never work for me. However, Rocket Languages might still be worth trying in the future.
Rocket Language is now $179 for lifetime access for level 3 access. It’s now very cheap. I’m doing it from a beginner level and it’s very good. You cover everything from writing, reading, listening and speaking in your language of choice. I’m doing South American Spanish.
Very thorough review. Already have a lifetime subscription to Babble, and I’ll use that just to get my feet wet on the language… then get Rocket for more advanced lessons! 😊
I like that you show what the program looks like on the computer display. It is the most expensive language program I've watched a review on. Before I decide on a program to study in the paid plans available, I will try the free trial version of this one. I do like the shorter lessons of other programs if you don't have time some days to do a whole hour of training.
Found your channel today while researching comparisons of Language learning courses for our homeschool electives. My 11 yo wants to learn Spanish. Your reviews have been very helpful. Thank you.
Would you advise using Busuu with Rocket Spanish? I’m also following The Language Tutor on UA-cam who has great free lessons as well as a follow up podcast for each lesson. Great reviews. Thanks
Busuu would be a good pairing with Rocket, as would Babbel. Those apps with shorter lessons are great for filling in the cracks and building your vocab!
Rocket can definitely get you close to advanced fluency, but if you want to reach C1/C2, you may need to combine it with a live class option afterwards, like Lingoda, Babbel Live or iTalki.
I've been doing a lot of research into which app/language program can help me get more conversational in Spanish. I like Pimsleur and have been using it for over a month. However, your review/comments concerning Spanish Rocket Language encouraged me to give it a try. Cost? I used your 60% off and purchased all three levels for $180 (paying over 6 months is not such a hit). When I add up a year of Pimsleur, it's much more, and I don't own anything. My plan is to do a lesson in Pimsleur and review in Rocket each day. Then I'll do a lesson in Rocket and review Pimsleur the next day. I'm retired, so I have the time. I enter most of the Pimsleur dialog into Flash Cards. In college (many years ago) I would go back to my room and re-write my notes. This proved very effective for learning the material. Putting the dialog into Flash Cards is helpful. I'll probably do the same thing for Rocket. Thank you for your reviews on these two programs.
Why do I want to learn Spanish!!! I'm From India, My baby brother who is 13 years old teen has Downs Syndrome. His dream is to experience, watch Football, good in Spain, he loved Gazpacho we made once at our home. He asked me to buy him this course, I came across your channel while reading and watching reviews. It would be a great help if I can get him a lifetime subscription.
As a Brit we are known for not making an effort into learning another language so the shock I see when I speak to people in Latin America in Spanish is amazing. You can see that they are very grateful that I took the time to learn their language, however I cannot speak fluently and want to be able to make lifelong friends in different countries. My goal is to be a B2 level in Spanish which will happen 1 day!
Rocket languages doesn't support Bluetooth only wired headphones. They also don't provide tech support. Their customer service is extremely rude and dismissive. I DONT recommend this product due to not being supported or updated to be in this century.

Same here man! Half Puerto Rican but my mom never taught me!
@@sammymra I’m not alone! I feel like the non Spanish-speaking Latinos are an ignored bunch.

thanks for your review👏👏
I would like the option for All Languages Life Time I got that offer from Mondly by Pearson Babbel and Rosetta Stone
I am dyslexic and so far I haven't been able to find a language learning app where they Don't Demand that I read and write. Could anybody help me?❤

Yes, maybe so because of the rolling transcripts. Good luck!
I'm learning Spanish to talk with friends and family
Great video!
Great Review! I like how Rocket language simulates real world experience
Thanks for watching!
Can you repeat the courses and tests after you complete them?
Yes you can
Spanish is widely accepted language for communication! Hence, everyone should learn a bit of Spanish as well!! :D

Rosetta Stone is a good option for visual learners
Very thorough review. Already have a lifetime subscription to Babble, and I’ll use that just to get my feet wet on the language… then get Rocket for more advanced lessons! 😊
That's a perfect way to do it
Thanks for the great information!
There are many benefits to learning Spanish with it being so widely spoken!
good review. this was helpful, thanks. my favorite aspect is the reinforcement drills at the end of the lessons. i need that
Right on!
So for 3 languages by rocket it is 1000e?😢😮

Want to go to Mexico and immerse in the Latin culture
Sounds awesome
What about Castilian spanish (Spain)? What app is better to pickup?
Pimsleur for Castilian Spanish is pretty solid
I have this program and use it in conjunction with Duolingo
Nice!
Great review!
Thanks!
Thanks for the review!
No problem!
Thank you for this detailed review! I've used Duolingo and Pimsleur but feel I need something more.
