I would set the conventional oven to it's regular time and then set a timer at 18 minutes to check it so you don't have to keep resetting the minutes on the conventional oven. Looks good!

Almost as good as tots on the blackstone.
When you set the baking time, set it for the total baking time, set you android timer for 18 minutes, pause the baking, check the bunt cake, then press start again to finish cooking. That way you don't need to reset your convection temp and time.

It heats up just a touch but we also have an exhaust fan that helps.

Yes! Just on a smaller scale. Air fryers cook quicker that convection ovens due to the size of the appliance. Breaded items like tenders and french fries get pretty crispy in the convection too!!

Why not set the original time for 36 minutes?
Valid point but it’s just a personal preference to keep an eye on the progress and to ensure it’s not browning to much.
