yeah just do the same thing, like mask out the pupil but start the key frames of the eye clip zoomed out then zoom in 15 frames later until the other clip completely takes over the screen

its because of the positioning. change the keyframe of the position with each frame too (recenter the eye) and you'll be fine!

just to make it clear, if u shoot at 24fps, couple of seconds is like 50 frames to be corrected.....
