This is the best live version of this song I have seen on UA-cam. The slow versions are all terrible because the drum beat is the heartbeat of the the song in this case. That “chunk. Chick-chunk. Chick-chunk-chicka-chunk. Chick-chunk. Chick-chunk-chicka-chunk.” Is very important and the acoustic solo slow version is just like a different vibe altogether.

MJ was great, but his sentimental imaginary greatness has to be wiped away eventually. People like Prince and Mars will carry that flag forward.
