Hey, no the co-op letter and the letter of acceptance are different. You can email your college for a co-op letter and mention that it is for immigration purposes.

Hey, thanks for your kind words. I think you should register for a new gckey account and create an application through that but i would suggest you to link it with a sign-in partner for easy access in future. You will need this account for every application (study permit, work permit, visa, pr).

You should apply for an extension for less than 6 months because it will take time for your transcript and other documents to be processed and it is better to have enough time for yourself to prepare the documents while applying for your work permit, this way you will have enough time to gather your documents and you will be able to work as well otherwise you will have to stop working until you get the letter for applied status. Hi, I have a question. I got accepted into a one-year program for summer 24 with an optional coop in the third semester. However, the acceptance letter says only two semesters, and I downloaded my coop letter separately from the college website which is a common letter that says “all the students enrolled for the course must complete one coop term to graduate” . I paid my first-semester fee and am in the process of extending my study permit. My question is, what is the expected date of graduation that I have to enter in IMM5709? The acceptance letter says the course ends in December, but I have a Coop in the third semester. Hey, which college are you from? If the course says that it is optional that means it is not compulsory to do the co-op that is why the acceptance letter only includes two semesters so it depends if you are willing to do the co-op or not. If you are willing to do the co-op you can ask your college for a co-op letter with the exact months and an enrolment letter for your co-op semester as well and do mention that it is for immigration purposes. Also, apply for the co-op permit along with the study extension to avoid any delay and in the IMM5709e form you can put the date when your 2 semesters and co-op will finish. That won't be necessary but if you think that you are not confident enough then go for it. It would be better than spoiling your file and taking chances.

You have to apply for TRV (Temporary Residence Visa) in order to receive the letter that will have the address details where you have to send your passport. Just re-do the questionnaire in CIC portal and the option for TRV will appear.

Ircc will send you a letter saying that you can work full-time until so and so date. Working before getting that letter might get you in trouble later.

Hey, I am sorry to hear that. You should keep a record of all your medical documents, if you took a break from your college then you would need those documents as well. While applying for an extension write an explanation letter and attach all those documents. Be well soon!

You should say no, saying yes means that you are applying their visa with yours which is not true and it will just delay your process because then the ircc will investigate about the co applicant as well.

I have a question. I got accepted into a one-year program for summer 24 with an optional coop in the third semester. However, the acceptance letter says only two semesters, and I downloaded my coop letter separately from the college website which is a common letter that says “all the students enrolled for the course must complete one coop term to graduate” . I paid my first-semester fee and am in the process of extending my study permit. My question is, what is the expected date of graduation that I have to enter in IMM5709? The acceptance letter says the course ends in December, but I have a Coop in the third semester. Whether I should apply for the coop now or just extend my study permit alone and go with the coop visa later
Hey, which college are you from? If the course says that it is optional that means it is not compulsory to do the co-op that is why the acceptance letter only includes two semesters so it depends if you are willing to do the co-op or not. If you are willing to do the co-op you can ask your college for a co-op letter with the exact months and an enrolment letter for your co-op semester as well and do mention that it is for immigration purposes. Also, apply for the co-op permit along with the study extension to avoid any delay and in the IMM5709e form you can put the date when your 2 semesters and co-op will finish. You have to apply for TRV (Temporary Residence Visa) in order to receive the letter that will have the address details where you have to send your passport. Just re-do the questionnaire in CIC portal and the option for TRV will appear.

Am i allowed to work parttime and study my parttime course.
Ircc will send you a letter saying that you can work full-time until so and so date. Working before getting that letter might get you in trouble later.

Hey, I am sorry to hear that. You should keep a record of all your medical documents, if you took a break from your college then you would need those documents as well. While applying for an extension write an explanation letter and attach all those documents. Be well soon!

You should say no, saying yes means that you are applying their visa with yours which is not true and it will just delay your process because then the ircc will investigate about the co applicant as well.
