I am, by academic training, a Black historian. Young man, I love seeing your videos because YOU (A black man) are making an effort to document OUR history of the development of gospel music. There are people of other races and/or ethnicities who persist upon telling our stories soon afterwards they take ownership of it. We need your voice and your face so that it continues to be our story. Keep doing what you're doing! A word to the wise, you are still young. But one day your steps will grow slow, eyesight will dim, and ultimately God is going to call you from labor to reward. Please make sure that you make arrangements for your intellectual property to go to some kind of noted HBCU that has a great library system. One I can think of off the top of my head is Howard University's Spingarn Center. It is imperative that the material that you were developing stays within the hands of black people.

It was such a Blessings to hear Mother Oliver singing with the combined reunion Chior at Fellowship for Mother LouDella Evans Reid 93 Birthday. Singing and Speaking in tongues while singing Be Still and Know That I'm God. You felt the Annointing as Mother Oliver sang....at 24 min mark, I agree when I 1st saw that clip of If I Parrish, yes Lord, That was the Annointing of the Holy Ghost. Amen
