We stayed on Foote lake at Burson's resort a few years back. That area is absolutely amazing. Fishing seems almost too easy when the lakes have absolutely no fishing pressure from big cities nearby
That is what we really enjoy about the area. Most of the lakes have no homes on them and it is very remote. The fishing is much better than what I have experienced in the southern part of the Lower Peninsula.
