Hey guys! 👋 this is freaking awesome! I'm from Australia 🇦🇺 but it makes me so happy to see fellow jrock fans. I get so tired of people saying " why would you listen to guys who wear dresses ? " or " I can't listen to music that isn't in english" or some stupid excuse for being uncultured and closed minded. I've listened to jrock since I was a teenager and it's something special! 9goats Black Out are truly an extraordinary band. It's so tragic they broke up 💔 😢. I like that both of you are knowledgeable about visual kei, and i can tell you're big fans! :) By the way , I think there's quite a few different styles of Visual Kei! I've only heard of Anugra kei ( Mucc were anugra kei in their early days, I think ! As well as a band called Cali gari) anugra stands for underground. They often have dark make-up. Also there's Nagoya Kei , Visual Kei, Oshare Kei, I've heard of Kote kei as well. there are quite a lot of different subgenres of rock and metal with these bands! Anyway I loved your reactions, and I see you're a guitarist! Heck yeah. I'm a guitarist too. This is an excellent channel, keep it up guys :) . Visual kei and jrock may seem niche and underground to some people, but personally, I love the music very much! I was lucky enough to see Dir en grey 10 years ago when they just released Rinkaku . Their liveset was only 45 minutes because they were a support band which sucks but it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to !
Thanks for checking out our videos! Can definitely sympathize with you about dealing with people who are not as willing or open minded to experience new and foreign things. At the end of the day all that matters is the music, the connection we make with it and how it makes us feel. No matter if the music is an instrumental or sung in a language we may not understand. Visual Kei has always had an appeal to me because it mixes a lot of things I like, punk and metal music being among them, with the added bonus of the rambunctious, sometimes anime-like aesthetic. Dir en Grey is one of the absolute GOATS of the scene, and I love their albums. We've both been lucky to watch them live at least 7-8 times now. They definitely put on a SHOW,. One of the very best bands to see live hands down.
Love seeing fellow brothers into VK/J-Rock.
Enjoyed yalls reaction! Very similar to mine when I first saw this a few years ago.
Subbed.
Thank you so much! We out here melinated and all!

Sleeping Beauty is my favorite by them. The part after the chorus 1:50 with the jazzy drums has such a nice vibe.
Sleeping Beauty is another one of my favorites from them. They always set the vibe right.
My dude Ryo (the singer of Gullet/9Goats) did some art for the game I'm making. He's a total badass.
That's amazing! How did that ever get setup? Not a lot of people mention Gullet, I'm glad someone remembers them, they were great too.
@@2PlayerSounds I knew he did a lot of album covers for other bands so I just hit him up on twitter and he was down to do custom work :)
Incredible! Definitely feel free to throw up some links to any of your works. Would love to check it out🤘
So I learned a new Japanese onomatopoeia チクタク. Chikutaku which is tic-tock.
That sounds about right! Thanks for including the katakana 👍
Dang, 9GOATS BLACK OUT is another one of my absolute favourites :D
Same here, top 5 for sure! Super underrated band. There's not one song I would skip from them 🎶
