Brilliant video guys😎 Sanj’s R1 just sounds awesome 🤘 I’ve ridden with Sanj many times he is such a fast rider he’s so suited to that R1.. In my opinion the cross plane engine is the best out there, you definitely need to move over to the dark side 👹
I was genuinely shocked how few sports bikes were at the ring, super naked’s are taking over! I must admit the V4 Tuono is a good looking bike and looks a dam sight more comfy than it’s brother the RSV4 😅
The majority of insurers will provide European cover but this does not include the Nurburgring toll road - cause an accident or crash and you will be liable for your own vehicle cost, other vehicles involved and the track repairs. It’s a very expensive place to get it wrong so take your time if your set on doing a few laps 👍 There are specialist insurers that provide cover for the Nurburgring but most will have very large excesses in place.

How did it feel taking the bike onto the ring compared to the car? Usually you'd be ragging past the cars on most roads, but the ring is one place where the cars actually go faster... Did that feel odd too?
Very different to the car and I had a few things on my mind which made it worse 😅 The main one is I didn’t have a plan B to get the bike home if it went wrong so I certainly played it very cautious and it’s also really difficult to keep an eye on your mirrors whilst hanging off the bike so often found myself over to the right missing the ideal line through the bends to keep over. 100% want to go back but will be in the van with the bike in the back 👍
Glad to hear John 😎 Thankfully 98+ RON (premium) was available at every petrol station through out the journey 👍 around the ring you can even purchase 102 octane - no need though, i was lacking in skill rather than power round the track 😅
pretty weird driving at around 15:20 ..i know the roads there myself...and with this cutting corners ... your motorcycle - rider heads are gone when someone with a car is coming the other way in a spirited manner... kind of a cringe moment seeing you guys cutting these corners

Thats why I bought the base model '21 Tuono V4 1100 for luggage security. Great help with the repair.
