Man, I’m so happy that Microsoft made literally the entire Dead or Alive series available. This is crazy! And not only that Mortal Kombat 9 and MK versus DC is also backwards compatible as well. When it comes to backwards compatibility, Microsoft nails it! Hats off to Microsoft for this

A remake DOA 2 like this, still looking fine too other than just DOA1 Ultimate and DOA3, but at least Aerosmith song were still there (Even if i heard a bit). And even first Ryu Hayabusa cutscene still there and looking like a sharp or whatever thingy.

You need to connect to the internet Xbox live to download it then after that you don't need internet anymore for that certain It'll download to your hard drive so it's your forever Keep the disc too cause it acts like a real original Xbox when you try to play the game it'll ask for a disc Also try updating your Xbox one
I could never play it on XBOX, I have the disk as a relic. I wish they reissued it for XBOX360. DOA is my favorite game series ((minus DOA6 which was a bump).

@@RedVenomCorp Yeah it is that way, just found out that if we change life gauge and time limit it does not unlock the costumes, that's the thing that was ruining my unlocks. Also the game has plenty of costumes, each difficulty unlocks a set number of them. Thx for answering.
I have the same situation, since playing this with the pressure sensitive controls, it now thinks you are applying full pressure to all of the buttons when the analog controller settings are turned on, so it would be having to get use to the more complicated button controls and combinations
@@UltraCasualPenguin When DOA3 came on the original xbox it too had settings to change the sensitivity on the buttons when using analog controller settings turned on, DOA2 had that option on the PS2 and also on DOA2 Ultimate when it was released for the original xbox too, it's a shame they couldn't do it now for the current gen or updating the controller for pressure sensitive games like this to work
@@UltraCasualPenguin I wouldn't say much, and what menu in the settings in the game, least if i remember correctly but forgive me if wrong, also i don't think rebuilding a new controller would be needed, just to update the firmware on the current controllers or update the game, mind you for something so simple i wouldn't be shocked if they had to rebuild a new one for sensitive input buttons.
You need to have save data for Dead or Alive 3 and beat Story Mode with Ein on Normal difficulty to unlock Hitomi. Make sure that the difficulty is the only setting you change, otherwise you won't unlock Hitomi, nor will you unlock a new costume for Ein.
@@TunguiAndrin Be careful with your wording! Your statement sounds like you have to do both, playing story mode with every character *AND* collecting all survival items. But that's wrong! For those of you who read this: You can just collect all survival items without playing the story mode multiple times. Thats enough in order to unlock every costume in this game.

the one fighting game that needs a sequel is virtua fighter i still think vf is the best to play soul calibur is neglected as well

It aged like a Fine Wine Best Version of Dead or Alive 2 far better than Yohei Shimbori ERA games although Shimbori left Team Ninja after DOA6

If you have the disc and a Xbox 360, play it. It works on it via backwards compatibility.

You need to update your copy before it can work, I actually own DoAU and DoA4 physically and all three of them work when inserting the disk

Seems odd to port this as this game used pressure sensitivity for moves making it not play right on these new consoles as they all lack that feature.
