- Oleksandr Gvozdyk shocked the boxing world when he retired from the sport in 2020.
After announcing his intention to return in 2022 as part of Eddy Reynoso's Canelo Team, 'The Nail' spoke to Boxing News at the WBC Convention in Acapulco.

It would be boring, their styles are similar neither of them stay in the pocket trading so it would be a lot of moving, dodging and small combinations

Enjoyed this. Clearly not a run-of-the-mill fighter. Plenty of talent/heart, but in addition a broad intellect. Been in some grueling fights. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on this weekend.

It's one of the most insane i guess you could call it an upset vs. Stevenson. Adonis was never the same we know and it takes a lot out of you when someone suffers catastrophic injuries and then the lost to Beterbiev. He is an extremely skilled boxer and is just a tier below the belt holders even at his age

If he's at his best he should be able to stop Bolotniks or at least a good UD, but Bolotniks is a tough comeback fight, not a gift

A truly intelligent boxer, I believe Beterbiev was lucky in that fight or Gvozdyk was poorly prepared for it. I would really like to see a rematch with Beterbiev I think he will win and take revenge. It's evident from his last fight that he is in good shape.
20 times lucky like beterbiev said.... He told it. Impossible to have only power in amateur and he was #1 p4p in amateur when he started in pro.
no luck involved. artur already stopped gvozdyk in the amateurs. gvozdyk just doesn’t have a good gas tank. i had him beating artur but as soon as gvozdyk started gassing, artur put on more pressure and got the stoppage
@@DrPlansit was 15 years ago, Usyk took Beterbiev to the boxing school twice, and of course he can do it now again, but we are talking about professional box

Не самий найкращий боксер із української дрім-тім, але самий розумний. Маю на увазі твою англійську, вона в 2-3 краще ніж у Ломаченко, та в 5 разів краще ніж у Усіка. Видно, що хлопець і граматику вивчив, і душе широкий словниковий запас. За твою англійськую аплодую тобі.

What made you think he hates Loma? In this interview, he said that they are not enemies, nor friends, they just parted ways at certain point.
In another interview Gvozdik mentioned that once he visited Lomas training camp in Cali and Loma did let him know that he is not welcome. Something happened between them.

Loma is under the influence of ruzzian orthodox church. He has a mentor who is brainwashing him pretty heavily. Gvozdik is atheist. When war started Gvozdik took pro Ukrainian position. Loma is still undecided. He is saying genetic things like "stop war". But he does not admit that ruzzia indvaded Ukraine. That is why people in Ukraine are hating on Loma now.
Just avoid Arthur Beterbieve, else no pleasant retirement.
