Is this story narrated by AI? Because there is no voice inflection. Bairly a pause at a comma, or stop at a period. And just drones on, in a very uninteresting way.

The reader is so bad. Stilted and can't pronounce French words. He breathes in the wrong places, the story just not flow properly. Such a pity.
