My heartiest thanks to you for making this video sir. Honestly i have been sleeping sleepy while watching any Axes tutorial. This is the first time i have watched it with all my open eyes and feeling happy n confident. I am new to Automation and your video really helped me. I just hope you make one series on selenium also. Student like me can really feel blessed to learn from your tutorials. God bless you sir and my all good wishes to you
Wow, thank you! I have already created the series on selenium. In case if you missed it, please follow the below link for the selenium java videos playlist: bit.ly/2FyKvxj
Thank you for this Video Yadagiri!! Very well explained. I loved it. I wish there was a love button in youtube. As per my project, I am using both actually, but personally I like xpath more than css. keep making videos like this bro and help us!!! 👍
Please try with different combinations of xpath and css selector then share your findings here @Mark. It might help others also in understanding this difference.
This was very helpful.. thank you.. In the xpath and css selector comparison table towards the end of the video, u have used ends-with function in xpath... Is ends-with function really available? Only starts-with function is possible right?
Yes, you are right There is a function called ends-with in xpath version 2. but usually browsers are not supporting that version. All the browsers support xpath version 1 only. So that means we cant use this function until browsers are updated with latest xpath version
no it wont work in code, that means we cant use it either. I have just mentioned it to show the equivalent counter part of css selector. But u can just ignore that.
