Wow, fried alligator! I had no idea that was a popular dish. While I knew kangaroo was available in Australia, alligator meat was completely new to me. What does it taste like?
This is the second time I have had alligator and I always say it tastes like pork. Denser and chewier than chicken. I believe most alligator meat comes from the tail.
