Mountain Biking Dangas Bike Park - Batam, Indonesia | PERFECT TROPICAL LOAM

I ride newly-cut descending trails on Dangas Bike Park, a short bike ride from Sekupang Ferry Terminal on Batam - Riau Province, Indonesia. 3 new ‘enduro’ trails have been created, joining the existing old DH line. Up to 3 additional descents planned for completion by the end of this year.
It is remarkable to me that these trails - beautifully bench-cut, with both flow and steep sections through gnarly tropical jungle, and fully serviced by asphalt access roads for lorry shuttle uplifts - are literally a short ferry ride away from Singapore.
UPDATE: The enduro race at Dangas originally planned for 17-18 March has been indefinitely postponed! :( I'll try to find out more information for you and post something up if I find it useful.

Hi there,do we need to check in our bike as an odd size luggage when we board the ferry or can we just push it in & board together with our bikes?

Hedy Azuan hey, the bike counts as ‘luggage’ and has go be checked in. There is a SGD$10 porter fee if you do a DIY visit, but if going as part of a guided trip this cost should be included as part of the package
