  • I learned this game from Al Lafontaine as he was training his conference leaders to host the Canadian National Leadership conference in Mission, BC many years ago. The large group is broken into smaller groups. As the leader, you give the group categories and each group has to send up to the stage the person that best represents that category. Examples include ... "Send me your tallest girl", then "tallest boy", shortest girl, shortest guy, oldest person, youngest person, person born closest to today, person born farthest away, person with the most siblings that have the same mom and dad as you, person that has travelled the farthest, (if it's a workplace setting, person who has worked here the longest, or person with the oldest child.) As the representative of each group comes up, you ask each for their answer or you measure them up against each other to determine a winner. You can score points for the groups, if needed. It is an awesome icebreaker to help promote getting to know each other.
