Tiny 12V Submersible Pump for Water, Oil and Diesel - 301

  • I have a well in the basement of My PlayHouse, it might even be a spring. If I do not pump out the water from it, it will flood the basement.
    I have a big primary pump that is on a timer and pumps out water 8 times a day of 13 minutes, less in the summer.
    I'd like an secondary system to pump out if the water level gets to high.

    My PlayHouse is a channel where i will show, what i am working on. I have this house, it is 168 Square Meters / 1808.3ft² and it is full, of half-finished projects.
    I love working with heating, insulation, Servers, computers, Datacenter, green power, alternative energy, solar, wind and more. It all costs, but I'm trying to get the most out of my money, and my time.

    thats a good idea. It would make a good emergency pump for a fish tank also. however, when the power goes out, I usually just use a 240v inverter to run my fish tank. it seems to be a strong pump. i might buy one someday to drain my fish tank.

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  4 місяці тому +1

      It will not lift the water 100ft,,, you need a big pump for that. I think this will do like 5 meter (15ft-ish)

  • @mbu745

    I have the same pump as yours. The maximum height that the pump can pump the water up to is 1.5 m and not a centimeter more. I wanted to use them to make a shower, but the pump is just worthless. Lost money.

    What is the elevation from bottom of the well to the bucket? These little DC pumps loose a lot of power with increasing the head. It is good that it was even working at all. 12 LPM is a calculation for flat pumping.

    Hello Morten, is that an old well for drinking water? How cool to have a permanent water supply with free water! Here in Australia I just priced up a well at $20,000 to give us a domestic water supply other than rainfall on our roof.

    Great video Morten! Typical Chinese ratings...optimistic to the point of fraud! You might want to try that pump with the hose running to the full height it will need during operation and recheck the flow rate. I'd hate to see you get the whole install all finalized and not have enough flow to keep up with with the water coming in! Just a thought. Anxious to see the whole project!
