I felt more at home i Sverige than usa, even though I couldn't speak the language. My heritage is Norwegian but CU in Boulder Colorado didn't have a program to study in Norway, so I went to Uppsala. SO glad and grateful I did!
I lived in Uppsala 4 years, it was the best time of my life. My best friend passed away so I had to return to usa, unfortunately. Tusen tack for bringing back so many beautiful memories, you did a great job.

I lived at Eklundshof and biked and walked this same route almost every single day, for a year and a half, before I met my Swedish friend and moved in with her. We would go to her summer home in Dalarna for Midsommar. Crayfish, lax, vin och vodka! I wish I could return.
