What a great way to assemble title slides for photo presentations. Adding space around a subject to allow for text insertion. And the low resolution of the Gen fill isn't an issue in this case. Some great ideas. Thank you.
Never realized there was a straighten tool in the CROP toolset! [And I have watched your videos for years.] Future video idea: How about a revisit of image re-sizing with golden ratio and other rulesets. (You have done before but given AI it really dramatically changes what can be done quickly with backgrounds -vs- what used to take hours before.)
@@AldoCarbonari I’m thinking the resolution will be much lower for the AI generated area. In my experience the lower resolution area will be noticeable if zoomed in and/or printed.
Great videao Aaron, but with the last example, having added in all that extra space, would you then feel confident enough to make an 8x10 print of the end result?
Hi there! The printability largely depends on the amount of AI-generated content. If it's mainly background details, an 8x10 print should be fine. Although AI-generated content might have slightly lower resolution, it should still look good at that size. However, for larger prints, we recommend making manual adjustments.
Hello Phlearn. Would you please do a video to do remove the people using the subject remover and part of the hair you have to do the color channel like red green blue to remove the hair in that picture. It means you teach us how to use the subject remover, select and mask and in that picture you have to use the color channel to remove the hair for accuracy. Thanks. I already watched the video you teach us to use the color channel to remove hair but not the combination. Thank you very much for your help. Have a great day.
Hey there! The resolution of AI-generated content can be lower, which is generally acceptable for online display but may not be suitable for print applications that require high visual fidelity.
Amazing? Yes. But in many ways this shows exactlty the dangers we face with AI. This is just producing a photograph that you didn't actually take. What things of greater importance are we going to be confronted with?
Hey there! You're right, AI tools like this raise important questions. While this is a simple example, it highlights how AI can be used to create convincing but potentially misleading content. It's crucial to be mindful of these challenges as AI technology continues to evolve. 🤗
In my experience, extending the crop on a beach scene of females with any skin showing (no matter hoe G-Rated) will cause Adobe's censorship to reject. Abandon AI for solution with less hassle.
Thanks so much Aaron ❤
As usual you make it look so nice and easy. Thanks for sharing your tips with us

Very helpful as always
Great tutorial... as always.
Well explained as always. Thank you very much.

Clear, as usual Aaron 🙏
Good explanation teaching well .. thanks
Gen Fill is by far greatest addition to PS EVER!! 🎉🎉
Photo shop is a miracle

That's an excellent suggestion! Thank you for phlearning with us!
Good video tutorial as always. Is the resolution of the image where you have extended using generative fill the same as the original image? Thanks

I have experienced this, thought I would check just in case there was an update I have missed
Hey there! Assuming you're working with a RAW file, the resolution for the AI content will be lower than the original image 🤗
@ thanks for sharing your knowledge with the community!
Thank you!

@@phlearn OK thanks for that Aaron
Thank you for your help. You are a great educator 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Generative fill is amazing....as a long time Photoshop user (and Phlearn subscriber) it almost feels like cheating. 😁
Because it is, its no longer a photo depicting real life.
@@Mash229 Which doesn't matter to the majority of people. They want "pretty pictures" not necessarily "pictures of things the way they actually are".

Does the resolution look the same?

Has anyone else noticed that Content Aware fill is not as reliable as it used to be before the Gen AI came along?

Hey there! The results are highly dependent on the source image. But we do know that AI can be unpredictable sometimes.
