Great video and excellent work on the mode! I frowned away from the '21 SS because I wasn't feeling the color, but I really like the accents you've done - gives it a great appeal. I am getting the '22 manta green SS (that color had to grow on me as well), so we'll see. Interesting of your comments on SlingMods - they definitely make everything seem super simple to install, which is what makes UA-cam so invaluable - vloggers like yourself sharing the experience from doing the mods first hand. Thanks much.
Boy you rite, love the F-3S. Found a 2021 with 705 miles on it. Starting my 2nd season with it. 😉🥰 Love it, sport mode is on every ride. Looks just like yours, just not the same upgrades. Having fun with my Spyder!
Found the exact model last week with 705 miles on the clock. Bought it. Got to ride a bit this weekend. It was not warm but not too bad, 50’s. Gotta get a wind shield for her and a few other mods. It will keep me busy over this cold winter. Chicagoland can have some brutal winters.🥶🥶🥶🥶
You can achieve HUGE improvements in handling without the huge cost of replacing all shocks (the Fox Podium's on the front is not the issue). A thicker sway bar and going to K9 tires will greatly improve the handling. You really only need to change the rear shock. The front shocks are fine. Beautiful Mods. Bike looks fantastic. BTW: LaMonster floor boards would set that bike off and make your riding more comfortable in my opinion.
Hi Hurley. Thanks for the tip. I did have the Baja Ron sway bar and links installed before the dealer shipped it to me as everyone says it makes a huge difference. Definitely would like some decent adjustments on the front shocks though.
Just checking back in with you. Hope you still your ride and that you have better weather this year than last. Hoping you will put out some new videos this year. GOD Bless and stay safe!
Great mods to your. Bike. I have the same model and year Spyder. I have only added a phone mount to my bike. You have inspired me to do some minor mods.
Thank you mentioning the stage 5 elka suspension, I am very interested in the Ryker 900 and was already considering them as immediate upgrades. The Ryker Rally has the adjustable suspend it I’ve been told the Fox is better.
Hi, Gerald. I've been looking at the M.2 Shocks as well. What has me leaning towards Elka is the remote preload adjuster and well as remote compression damping adjuster for the rear shock. This is important to me so I can quickly dial in settings for two up riding. Now, if I can convince my wife to let me buy her a Ryker 900, then I could forgo those remote adjusters and probably will go with the M.2 setup, which looks really good and stout.
Thought you'd like to know that I decided to go the M.2 route after talking to the company owner, Marcus McBain. His position is, you shouldn't have to make adjustments to the shock if they are setup right in the first place and that unless you are a race engineer/tech then all the adjustments are B.S. and really not needed for 99% of people. Maybe just a little preload for two up riding. He gives a 20% discount to to Spyderlovers.com members and my kit from him ran me just under $1,700 shipped vs. $3,400 for the Elkas pre-tax and shipped. Now I've got some left over cash to add other parts to the bike. Specifically looking at getting the seats redone by LAAM's and some Lemonster floor boards and Third Peg. These bikes will suck the $$$$ right out of your wallet if you let them. Lawdy!
@@Bananimal65 thank you for the update, I have seen another Ryker owner install and rave about the M2 springs and how much they improved his stability and confidence in the front suspension. I was researching more for my weight at 310lb and 6’4” height, I will probably go the elka stage 4/5 route only to raise the height on the 900 saving me some cash on buying the rally. It has been an ongoing flip flop from the rally to the 900 with the reality that I’d be upgrading or changing the suspension almost immediately. I will keep an eye out for your review…perhaps your ride experience will change my opinion. Thank you
Super nice bike I’m about to buy a 2021 spyder f3 I was getting a Ryker rally but after seeing the spyder I don’t want the Ryker no more I love the one you got I’m only getting the base f3 but it’s my first bike so I’m excited
Base F3 is still going to be a great bike. If it weren't for the orange frame, I probably would have gone with the base model as well. You're going to like it if you buy it.
Bonjour, votre Can am et magnifique, j'ai acheté le même modèle,je voudrais vous demandez ou je peux trouver les autocollants qui se trouve sur l'avant de votre moto, merci Cordialement Philippe
Thank you so much on the sling mods fog light pointer I finally!! FINALLY got my fog light on and seen that it's waaaayyy deep in the hole leaving a gap in between. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. So far that's three mods I had trouble with SLING. Absolutely ZERO with the other two mods I just bought on Amazon... Sling is filled w/ "well we forgot to mention"
Truth right there. It took me over 4 hours to get the afterburner lights installed. Why? Because they left out the critical part of the video that explains how to manage the wires in the super spall box behind the license plate. They say, "And then tuck in the remaining wires so you can reattach the access door." If you watch the video, it is my opinion they knew how difficult it was because they cut away on the video when the door wouldn't go back on and immediately cut back to the door being closed. Even them it's not on right. I wound up finding MoabMan's afterburner lights install video and that is the way you MUST do it. The wires will not fit any other way.
I called SlingMods and they said they should be getting them soon. I'll hold as I'm afraid I'll cancel my order with them and then then Value Accessories will tell me it is backordered. Thanks for the tip though. I like the Value Accessories site and will be using it I'm sure.
Hi, couple of questions. Looking now. Always said if I get 3 wheeler, just shoot me. We'll 2 drops with injury on my tiger and back surgery in June 23, I am not ready to call it quits! Have to sell my Harley and tiger to move on. Seems like videos I watch, along of left right movement. Is that true? How are bumps, worries me with my back plates. Your thoughts appreciated. Dan
Hi Dan. Yeah, there is a bit of left right movement considering the platform has three contact points, but it isn't too bad. Shouldn't be an issue for your back. Bumps? You'll definitely want to budget for good shocks as the stock rear would bottom out on me quite often. I've got the M2 shocks on mine and it is night and day. And riding on three really ain't that bad and is actually fun in its own way. There's a lot of benefits to it as I pointed out in my video. It's just a different form of locomotion in my book. If you accept you are done with two-wheelers and accept the three-wheeler for what it is, it's all good as it is what it is supposed to be. That's the way I feel about it.
I am getting the exact same color F3 special. On the SpyderBoys site the GT stripes asks for the year 2016 or 2015. What do I need for the 2021? or do i call them
Will the f3 hold the road at higher speeds? My dad bought a ryker rally 2021 and when you get over 50 it starts to weave all over the place. I was looking at the f3, but after driving dads I'm not sure?
Yes, it's fine at higher speeds. I think the weaving you are speaking to is the tires finding the grooves in the road that cars leave over time. That goes away once you get used to it. I have that issue with my Camaro because my front tires are 285s and wider than most rear tires. It hunts around depending on how severe the grooves are.
The reason the bike gets squirrely is because he’s white knuckling try holding the handlebars with just enough grip to hold and control the bike ,I had the same issue in the beginning with my bike.

Great review. Thanks!
Your F3 looks great. Yes, I too discovered slingmods, does not give all the necessary install information for the Ryker either.
Yep. I pay special attention to when they cut away in their videos now. LOL!
Very nice. Very tasteful.
Gorgeous bike😊
Great looking bike. Love the content. You're the only one putting out content on the F3-s. Keep it coming
Thanks. It has literally rained every day since I shot this video. Hoping the rain will stop so I can get some riding and vids done.

Hi B, The link is in my description above. It's a QuadLock System. And yes, it protects against harmful vibration that damage your phone.
