Helllo Erikka! I’ve gotten all of your edu videos on Udemy and I love what I’ve learned! When will you be doing a 2024 kitchen trends video? We’re designing our new home right now and I’d love to see what you have to say about new trends!
There was a mention of marble being used for kitchen countertops, that would be a mistake. Marble is a softer stone and very porous and prone to staining. Also a lot of pictures showing hardwood flooring in kitchens to give that continuous/seamless look of flooring. However, hardwood in a kitchen is not a great idea, love the look for the first couple years, but kitchens get a lot of wear and tear and things are always spilling on a kitchen floor. Liquids seeping into the tiny gaps in the flooring, not to mention a leaking dishwasher will absolutely ruin a hardwood floor and sooner rather than later will need to be refinished or torn out and replaced. Picture that project after the expensive cabinetry and countertops and backsplash have to be removed 😖. If you are lucky you can find a contractor to cut the flooring around all the cabinets as opposed to tearing everything out.
Intriguing review of kitchen trends! Home design is fascinating to me. Please, would you consider doing a video on various historic Storybook-style designs? It's a style that developed post-WWI, on the west coast, & spread across the US to many cities during the 1920s, 1930s, & 1940s, & is quite remarkable for its extraordinary variety of styles & sensible design choices, along with its delightful charm & whimsy! And~~ Thank you bunches for sharing your design insights, from your newest subscriber in Minneapolis, Minnesota! 🙏🌿💐🌿😊💚😘🌿💐🌿🙏
So here’s the deal with trends… it’s what everybody thinks is new and improved. It’s an opinion of one person and all of a sudden everybody’s got to have that one thing that every kitchen Hass to have new cabinets $30,000 new sink, new flooring, new color new this new that new new new new new and all of a sudden it’s next year and guess what somebody has an opinion and that opinion is that you need this color you need this kind of sink you need these cabinets and this flooring because guess what it’s what’s in!!! so every year you’re expected to pay more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more so you can have the newest “opinion on what’s in”…,,in your kitchen??? people who do this are idiots they got more money than sense… where is Forrest Gump’s Mama used to say stupid is as stupid does
This is insane! Who really registers all people's choices when they decide to paint their kitchen??? "Shades" of green? If you need a specific shade of green toy are much more of a need for a life. Beige? Beige was on life support for 25 years because it is what people do when they have no opinion. Stop being obsessed with "shades". Get a dog or get laid.
My favourite kitchen trend video…. thanks for sharing👏🏽👍🏽🥰🌺💕
I have to admit that I don’t usually subscribe let alone on the first video. I’m very impressed with how much work went into this video.

Hi - yes I will be! I usually release it in the early summer each year, after I have a chance to see what is really trending.
I like all your suggestions in this video and i am hard to please. Well done.
Black and white so classy!
Can't wait to see that new LG refrigerator that changes color panels. How cool!
love your Videos Erikka..Keep posting
I love the pink stove and stove hood!
I didn't realize my black on black kitchen was popular or trending until this year lol Guess I was ahead of the curve.
I don't enjoy cooking so there's already drama and moodiness in the kitchen without black cabinets.😆
😅😅
My kitchen is sm no way black cabinets I had a hard time with dark wood 🤷♀️
Amen!
That’s funny 😂
haha!
Yay!!! My brown Formica counters are ‘in’ this year🎉
I think no uppers is the way to go, but it's coupled with the return of a true multi-entrance butler's pantry.

stop using beige! as a former heavy smoker,, do you really want your home to look like a heavy smoker lives there????????
Let me guess, you use that drab grey? What do you suggest?
This is insane!

"Shades" of green? If you need a specific shade of green toy are much more of a need for a life.
Beige?
Beige was on life support for 25 years because it is what people do when they have no opinion.

??
This is a very rude comment. You should be ashamed.
