Eh, I stopped listening to his songs ever since he got lazy with harmony and his songs now consist of three chords for the entirity of any given song. Happened after aldnoah. This song is an exception, it seems, so here I am.

@@ariqsyauqi4117 to put it bluntly, even by gacha game standard, it's not a game and more of interactive novel. The game play pretty much without your input and the thing you can do is very limited.
Most of the thing you control are from main menu/hangar such as customizing equipment/pilot.
So for most it is a pretty boring game.
If you allow me to rant however:
It is however the most fun i ever had in gacha game. It is such an interesting game with ton of attention put into it. Sure the monetization is the same level as other game and you have OP stuff but with enough time and patience even ordinary mech can do well.
The part that interest me most is how the game feel. you're just a nobody tasked with directing a squad of mercenary and do menial job. You're not the captain of the ship or anyone of importance. The mercenaries do their own shit on the battlefield and you can help direct their attention to their positioning or target but this isn't your story. It is their story. In the battlefield they may ignore your order and prioritize a better target or blindly follow your order regardless of the danger...
Which lead to what i call the three layered battlefield.
There's the inorganic feeling of hard math that is present in every game (not just gacha game). Stat, ability, weapon, damage, level, etc.
Then due to the 4v4 fully independent AI there's a sense of chaos as 8 mech or more battle each other sometime 1v1 and sometime a target e which target b then retarget a but a retarget into f as b double teamed f and so on and so forth. This chaos as a result make the game much more organic than mere math number. Don't get me wrong, this cause a lot of rage moment but it does look awesome. You're not capped at mere math, sometimes the impossible happen and sometime things got too chaotic for you to follow and those moment can be awesome.
And lastly are the inorganic feeling of mecha. The action your mecha are both limited and are on cooldown even if only 3 sec. Weapon also need to reload their ammunition and it took time to reload. Sometime there are lull for a full second in the battlefield because whoever left alive expend all their action and weaponry and you have them awkwardly walking in front of each other before tearing each other apart again. Sometime it is an unending barrage as both mecha continuously dodge/avoid each other attack while reloading weapon/offensive action. This feed into the organic feeling i said earlier but it also feels realistic since not even organic body fight continuously for the entire fight and while mecha are sturdier, they most likely use preset motion to help control the mecha movement not to mention ammunition for weapon and cooling down emergency thrusters to prevent overheating etc.
This three sensation result in incredible moment/story in your head. The feeling of being beaten black and blue by overstatted opponent, the feeling of crushing opponent with op mecha, how a high level pilot can ride generic mecha and take on a more powerful mecha one after another, a rough slugfest, one measly plane dodging and weaving through enemy attack as you outmanuver them by sending in command to the pilot, the rage inducing moment as your pilot are held back by opponent mecha while their rear support tear apart your team and nobody listen to you, etc. You are nobody, the story didn't involve you, but you share their joy, their accomplishment, their journey, their despair. It is a fun experience. A bit tedious most of the time, but fun regardless.

Most cast are either an adult or had some sort of motivation they would willing to kill people for, the rest are kid raised in sheltered facility/academy. Except khaz the chad, he's the Hero in mostly gray world.
(Yeah i know there are mop kun, but different upbringing. It isn't hard to be more idealistic in sheltered environment compared to a harsh desert where supply is scarce).

ゲーム自体は正直ロボがめちゃくちゃ好きでコレクション精神ないと出来ないと思うから他人におすすめしにくいけど、音楽、ストーリー、機体、キャラのデザインはかなり良いんだよねぇアイサガ。始めた頃からクソゲークソゲーと言いながらいつの間にかもう2年近くやっててそんなクソゲーと罵ってたアイサガの事をいつの間にか好きになってるなぁって思った。この曲はそんなアイサガの中で一二を争う位に好きな曲。

I love Iron Saga.
It has JoJo references. VAs are big names who you can recognize from many mecha anime franchises.
There are hundreds of mecha units to utilize in this game.
My suggestion for new Iron Saga players is focus on the main story chapters as it gives plenty of good pilots and mecha.
Enjoy the awesome music and immerse yourself in Iron Saga's story chapters.
Don't hate Becas for not pursuing women. He has PTSD from his younger years and is subtly protecting a couple of orphaned war children.
