Thanks for doing this video. I live only half a mile away and still have to use it. My family have used it though and it is a great investment. I'm seeing loads of people moving around, to the airport with their luggage 🧳 trolleys. Quite unusual but excellent to see its being used

Nice video Henry yeah Inverness Airport is a few months old but still the newest station in Scotland. Will check out the Portway Park and Ride one as I saw Thanet Parkway. Enjoy this crazy weather we got 23C here in Cornwall. 🥵

I visited the station earlier this year when I was in Inverness for a meeting. I got the bus there - it took a lot longer than the train - and got an HST back. Like you, I didn’t have time to walk to the airport itself before my train. Great new station! Hopefully not long now until joined by Leven/Inbhir Lìobhann and Cameron Bridge/Drochaid Chamshron open too.

Don’t think there has been a steam rail tour through, but the Scottish Rail Preservation Society did a tour that went from Edinburgh up to Inverness via Aberdeen and back via the Highland Mainline with their preserved 37 403 Isle of Mull back in March that would have gone through.

I prefer seeing new stations a few months later. Everybody turns up on Day 1 but it's good to see how it is being used in general. Thanks for video!

Perhaps that station should be called Inverness Airport Parkway that would of had its own park & ride and shuttle buses running between the new railway station and the airport. But overall the new railway station is very nice.
