School, literacy, and teacher education

This forum focused on School, literacy and teacher education - joint national priorities for India and Australia. In this webinar, researchers highlighted national schemes and policies governing school education, literacy rates and teacher education. Building on this background of ambitious education policies, the expert speakers light on some of the shared challenges at the implementation level, including issues of equity and access, inclusive pedagogy and literacy, and funding and governance of teacher training and management.
