Can't beat watching an artist at work.
Good video showing new wood frame being screwed in on all four sides, this will make life easy for anyone doing exactly what you did, cheers 🍻
Another good video! Going to attempt a small brick wall in my garden from what I've learnt from watching you!

Subscribed, excellent value these vids Stu, thanks
I thought the bond would look bad but it's turned out great.👍👍 mixing by hand 😭😭oh the memories. Do you not drill into the brick instead of a mortar joint. Good nice finish though.
Cracking job that stu
cheers paul matey
🤣 🤣 Pickers United lala lala, pro's with the silicone gun 🔫, legends 👍
This is absolutely beautiful, but can I ask why the new window is one brick higher than the other two windows? Just curious not a dig, I’m going to be using this as a guide for when I down reduce the size of my bathroom window so I can a bigger shower.
Nice job Stu 👌
Nice brickwork 👍
Super looks easy but I want my extended and was telling me it will be expensive and a lot of work
Hey Stu, the two ways I would recommend would be . A get you to do it or B ......... you guessed it, get you to do it.😂
Thanks for another great video
Any chance you could do a video on profiles like how to set them up and youes them wood be much appreciated thanks again stu
Please ignore my ignorance Stu , did you have to put a lintel above the window?
Wish you would have slowed down filing in the joints and pointing. Glad to see the evolution saw back. Great video stu
I have a 10 min video on weatherstruck pointing with full commentary Spence at www.bestbricky.com
Hello. Do you know if reducing a window at the front of the house (for an en suite) would require planning permission?
Thanks.
Peas n rice that stu....NICE
thanks :)
Your old man knocks up some decent muck
Great vid stu sorted the bond a treat 👌 would of looked a dogs dinner with a quarter in it 👍 well done mate. I maybe would of finished it with a jointing iron the existing looks like its had a bucket handle on it but your weather struck looks great aswell.
cheers, the original was weatherstruck but looked a sandy mix and washed away
stu crompton you done a great job mate looks 👌 proper
Poor lad, pickers United haha! I noticed it in the last video but kept quiet! Btw, subbed a while back.. But first comment! Nice work
Lol mate like we actually forgot to put a cap on doing the job for 35 years lol
Cheers for being part of the channel Allan 👍
Hi Stu, have got to do this exact job with a cavity wall, would you still advise fitting the window first and then bricking up to it as opposed to bricking first and then fitting window after?
Yes because u work to the window which is straight
What sort of cost would this be?
How much would this project cost?
Do u not add feb to the mix?
How you clipped the window frame toothing, we were pointing house up years ago and the lad grinding out clipped the door frame on ever joint the only difference being the door frame was not coming out.
Lol mark, oops
What plasteriser do you use and ratio to water?
spot on mate, i would have done same
nice one russell mate
looked liked it grew there lol
Stu can you make our window smaller Runcorn
Not taking any work on at the moment debbie sorry
You got some new wheels mate?
No mate it’s on my list of cars to own tho
I like to see how you work
but why no lunch or coffee?
Was that luck stu .? Good job you didn't put a cut or you'd have one each end . luck's as good as skill any day lol nice job lads as usual 👍
No luck mate It’s all down to knowing your measurements 👍
Great video stu. Would have liked to see you brick the inner wall too. Did you insert insulation?
Video tomorrow mate and yes I insulated
You couldn't do are window for us
I wanna be that fast like min 4:40
Why don't you to wear steel toe cap boots or shoes.
I cant understand why British people need that.
