Summits prime ended 10 years ago, right around the 26 mark. And I’m not taking a jab I just know for a fact. I still have my days as does he but I’m 38 and I remember just shots happening and kills coming in my early 20’s they happened so fast I didn’t even register what happened half the time. lol

But counterstrike is all about dedication. You can be 40 years old and go pro at this game. If you played the game everyday, sacrificed everything else in your life, you could reach the top in counterstrike. You don't need to be 17 years old to be good at cs.

For real put Summit against anyone else his age and he will destroy them. Summit has been in the game so long but he's still cracked its actually insane, I'm 30 and I can feel myself falling off when I play FPS games I need to know Summits secret.
You don't get physically worse until you get actual arthritis but it takes more focus to get better because you have less neuro-elasticity so you can't just play for fun and get better anymore, if you want to see improvement in older age you have to focus intensely on single aspects like practice your util belt or your movement or your aim and do a particular case scenario one at a time until you are confident enough to try it in game then play games and focus on doing the thing you are trying to improve whenever you can. As for getting "worse" it's simply because you started playing less and forgot how to do some stuff, then you weren't able to pick it up in the same way. You just model yourself after better players if that is the case watch VODs and try to imitate the way they do things.
A lot of the time, what happens is, we take a break from a game we grinded the hell out of and got good at, then come back to it and find ourselves lacking to our previous experience. Instead of accepting we need to build those skills up again, we try to force everything at once and end up doing everything like we know how but kind of janky. You try to force the muscle memory and it leaves you feeling stiff and uncomfortable. This makes us go "oh I'm old and suck now" when really most people have to be dedicated consistently to have the correct muscle memory to be comfortably masterful at a game and everyone knows that.
Your reaction speed gets a tiny bit slower but I find I am more calm and able to trust my gut predictions better as I age so overall in fps I am actually faster to shoot than I was when I was younger, it's not actually that big unless you want to be the best in the top 00.1%. What is big, is that the learning curve gets steeper, and you get more heavily punished for switching games, taking breaks, or new metas.
