    This happens way to often even today. My sister was a foster household and she had to stop because the children were usually given back to the parents that had abused them. It took a toll on her that the children were put back in that situation. Heart breaking.

      Reunification is the idea behind foster care. You have to understand and accept that going in or you'll stay disappointed.

    What an evil family. Narcissistic & psychopathic - truly frightening. No real remorse. Poor little Tiahleigh. May she rest In peace.
    As for her birth mom ... yeah, she failed on some level. But who among us is perfect? No one. And that's what foster care is supposed to be for. It's not adoption, it's a chance for birth parents to straighten out their lives and get it right. Foster families are supposed to be vetted, monitored, etc. I wish the department of children & families also included counselors/therapists who met with the children on a regular basis to make sure they are adapting and being treated well.

    Let's get one thing straight. Tiahleigh was never happy in that house of perverts. Another child failed by every adult in her short life. Imagine, putting a young vulnerable girl in a home with three males. Whoever made that decision, should also be in prison. It was doomed to fail from the very beginning.

    I don’t understand…she had a mother and a grandmother and she was sent to a foster home? 30:51

    • @patty89forever
      @patty89forever Рік тому

      In the US If the grandmother was sick, elderly, did not live in her own residence she would fail to meet the criteria for foster care to place her in the grandmother's care. The bio mother admitted she was struggling with substance abuse, abusive live- in partner, hostile unstable home environment, periods of homelessness but she was able to put her life back together and she regained custody of her other bio children... the evil foster family killed such an innocent/vulnerable child before the bio mom was able to get her life on the right track and regain custody

    i want tia's mom and others like her to know it isn't their fault. people have foster care system to protect kids and create safe haven for parents who cannot provide safety for their kids. she did the right thing by removing her children from a volotile situation and recognized she needed help. it was the job of that family to foster her child properly and keep her safe. it's always the predators fault, and they would have hurt someone else if it wasn't tia. tia's death exposed those monsters and removed them from the public so they cant hurt anyone else

    So how did these people plass to be foster parents ?... I always was under the impression people were " screened" for this job....and it is a job since they get paid

    • @angelalane1307
      @angelalane1307 Рік тому

      It's not a huge amount of money, and; back in the 80s-90s, we were screened very thoroughly. My parents, sister and I were foster parents for 8 years, and had 26 kids over that time, 5 at a time.

      @@angelalane1307ok. how many biological children lived there at the same time then? my experience is that people who squeeze in more children than they have time for do it for financial gain and already traumatized children get worse as there is no room for individual attention for them. everywhere where there's money there's also a scammer and those who stand up with their hearts are barely visible in the throng of the greedy
