The tennis world has never seen a player this complete, especially at only 19 years of age.
Alcaraz has all the shots in the game, and he can do them all not just well, but at top-notch level. What's more is he is still improving at a rapid rate with his consistency despite his style of play is usually error prone and can change a lot from day to day. With the big 3 close to retiring age, we might just see the most dominant tennis player ever and for decades to come.

Actually federer has been doing it for a while. Dropshots where the player doesn't even attempt to chase it. And credit to alcarez, his dropshots are of similar quality. However true peak drops hot prowess is achieved when you can regularly do them off 1st serve returns, like federer does. As the server is moving towards the net when serving, winning a point off his serve through a dropshot is near impossible. haven't seen many pull it off apart from Roger

That 12:49 drop shot off of a high-top spin Tsitsipas attacking and penetrating forehand is obnoxious, plain wrong, abnormal, exceptional, indecent and pornographic. All in one.
This kid is the incarnation of Federer and Rafa at their best - both in one. He is an attacking player with Federer's forehand variety (nobody since Peak Federer has displayed anything like this), and he outdoes Federer's disguise with the drops. Can his touch be as good as the Swiss Maestro's? I ain't never seen dropshots like this before. He moves, fights and defends like Rafa. And he seems to have Murray's backhand to top it all off... His one-handed backhand slices are also sublime.
It is just absurd for someone to be this good at this age. If he can keep up his consistency, he will be a threat everywhere. Let's see how Nole responds given he is innoculated to Rafa and Fed. Maybe someone with their best skills can outlast him in slams.

Carlos Moya is also known as 'Charly'. Carlitos said he feels he's done something wrong if he's called Carlos - think that's what his mum calls him Carlos if he's being told off lol

41 winners on red clay in slower night conditions vs 17 UE against a Top 3 - 4 clay courter like Tsitsipas in Barcelona. Let that sink in for a moment. Now picture what he is capable of on faster surfaces. One word... frightening and remember, he has not reached his peak. I can't find the words to describe what his match stats could be at his peak.
He will reach the top for one very important reason....from ATP tour article
However, despite his success, the 2022 Tour-leading four-time titlist is still aiming for further improvement.
“I think that I have to improve everything still. I have always said that you can improve everything. You never reach a limit,” Alcaraz said. “Look at Rafa, Djokovic, [Roger] Federer, all of them improve and they have things to improve. That's why they are so good, and that's why they are so much [of the] time up there, because they don't stop. They keep on working and improving.
“That's what I want to do. I want to keep on progressing. I have really good shots. I don't say that I don't have them, but I know that I can improve them and they can be even better.”

Very much reminds me of a young Djokovic, but with some extra abilities as well. Like sublime touch, creativity and a versatile forehand. If this guy develops a good serve he is going to win a bunch of slams.

Alcaraz is the next great tennis champion. He can beat anyone right now. As long as he remains healthy, he will win many grand slam events. He has it all - speed, power, touch, smarts, endurance, desire, and great coaching. I hope he stays away from injury. Carlos, stay off of cement/hard courts as much as possible. They will wreck your feet and knees. I've seen that happen many times. I'm warning you. Stay off of cement courts!

He has Roger’s dropshots. He got Rafa’s footwork and consistency in the rallys. And he has Novak’s backhand.
