I wear a 12D fairly consistently in most American boots . I have a 55 last franks and a Wesco in their Jobmaster last. The franks might be slightly longer, but more narrow. Both fit me . Just what I notice between those two brands and lasts. I’d say the Wesco is better for me and what I do, but I love both

The Vibram V100 white x fire and ice outsole is a beast
Some people say they wear quicker. I have the classic and the Red X . I haven’t noticed any difference in daily use. I’m not a firefighter so it really makes not difference if I have fire rated soles. When my Redwood Wesco’s need a resole I might go to the honey sole.
Great video Dale. Those are great looking boots, always a fan of both those leathers. I find that the 67 last is narrower than the 77 and I also size down from the 55/HNW. Love my 77 Franks and 67 Nicks boots
I personally find the 4 toe to be to bulbous, but it’s all preference. I have heard they’re great for wide feet. I’m more of a wesco guy as far as lasts go.
Having bought some JK OT Bison this morning.. Frank's is the last PNW brand I've yet to try.. id love some green or blue Badalassi or Dublin Wilshire with patches or Monkey Boots.. these look great.. thanks Dale..! I got a bunch of reviews to do myself : ) Whites CMP.. Ranchers.. and Viberg 2030 I've been going heavy down this rabbit hole lately hah
I like Frank's build quality! I ordered a pair from them through a retailer. Unfortunately, the retailer doesn't know how to measure feet and Frank's tried rebuilding them four times over a year and a half to get a better fit. When that didn't work they helped me get a refund. I never got around to reordering from them because the prices increased 25% and I was badly overdue for boots. Avoid all the locations of Footwear Outfitters in the eastern half of Idaho. They brag that they are consistent in the way they measure because of decades of experience, but the local cobblers say they don't get the right measurements, so all of the PNW boots they order don't fit. Buying direct is a better route than going through a retailer because all the PNW bootmakers are contractually obligated to make what the retailers order.

great vid and sweet boots! do recommend to not play the badass theme music when you are talking though. it gets pretty distracting.

I saw clearcut on Frank’s website, I hadn’t heard of it either. I would probably also call a 3-tone a hybrid too haha! Good to know about the lineman patches 😎
@@DalesLeatherworks I should have come back and said this but forgot....I saw the Clearcut. It is a spiked model for climbing trees. Explains why I hadn't heard of it.
