Hi, dev of XGA here. Thanks for covering our game! I just wanted to clarify that the demo is basically the full game minus the extra final areas (the mothership, xga temple, boss rush area and challenge run area). But the majority game is already there in the demo.
...hm, noted on the music with Exo-9 Battle Goat. Actually haven't had complaints about that one before when sharing the music, but have occasionally had ones about volume balance in the songs as a whole, so that's probably related based on the way you're describing it. Will try to remember to see what I can do when I have some time... Anyway! Glad you had a good time otherwise. ...wait, I might have a much simpler fix in mind that won't require as much time to change. I currently use a reverb effect on the music for a more SNES-like sound and since there were some complaints about the sound of it before I did that, complaining it sounded a bit off, but some people have complained about how it sounds *with* that... maybe if I make it so you can choose as a setting whether or not the soundtrack has reverb... I wonder if maybe that'd sound less harsh for some? Worth a try I suppose. I'll try to get back to you on how that's going with a new comment whenever I remember to make that change. I have a few other small updates I wanna do for this demo anyway, heh...
