Yeah, so this video is properly cursed. My laptop and I have never been friends, but from near enough the moment I started this one...Wow.
Anyway, massive thank you to @DarkestxHearts for listening to my ramblings and absolute breakdown over everything that happened in this episode. You're a trooper, and I don't deserve you. This one's dedicated to you. Enjoy the pain, I guess?
Onto the episode itself - first of all, give Jesse Rath all of the awards. Every single one of his scenes was incredible. Second of all...STOP HURTING THESE TWO. They've been through so much, both individually and as a couple, and they just deserve to be happy. Okay? Neither one of them deserve this.
(Also, I feel like it would be rude to not address the fact that William Dey deserved better. He'd finally started to grow on me, and I'm sad to see him and all his wasted potential go).
Now that I've had a few days to process, and the stills for 6x20 are out, I am more hopeful than I was when I first watched 6x18...but I'm still nervous. The CW as a whole has never been kind to me where my ships are concerned...But I'm going to be positive. Please join me in manifesting good things!

Okay okay I am here for the angst and more scenes of these two BUT THEY BETTER HAVE HAD FOUND A WAY TO KEEP THEM TOGETHER AND GAVE THEM THEIR HAPPY ENDING OR I WILL SUE!!! Truly all their scenes were beautiful (the way she wants to go with him, the way he really considered putting the whole world at risk just to stay with her... THE LOVE THEY HAVE FOR EACH OTHER) and damn did this edit and this song you picked showcased the emotion of that storyline even more. I loved it so much. It made me very very emotional like all those scenes put together and the intense moments with the changes of pace in the song etc. etc. it was just... perfect :')))

THAT WAS HOW I FELT FOR A FULL WEEK AFTER WATCHING THE EPISODE.
They really were on a whole different level this entire episode...How tangible their love for each other, and their absolute horror at the idea of being forced apart hurt so much.
This song plus this episode seemed like a match made in...well, Heaven seems like the wrong word, given all the pain, but you know what I mean. At least, it did at 2am when I chose it. The tears it caused during the editing process...not so much!
