Lived in 3 different homes in Palatine from 1997-2021, one of them with the Palatine Trail in my backyard, another across from the Clayson House. Great place to live and great video of the area.
I lived in Palatine from December 1957 to May 1962. It is amazing how much it has grown. I could not believe how huge Palatine High School is. All the different parks that Palatine has. I am curious is there any run down areas in Palatine. I remember Palatine being so clean. I have been back several times and I am planning to make to stop again to see some of the places that is in the video. One place I would like to check out is the Tap House Grill because that use to be the Jewel Food Store and my mother had worked.
Yes a lot of things have changed since the last time you lived here. Hopefully you can get back to visit and see how Palatine is still a home yet growing community.
