Call me crazy but I sense a not-so-slight cultural swing from the late 70s to this time frame in the mode of dress and general behavior of kids. This 1993 era seems like kids said cuss words out loud in the halls, flipped off the camera and generally acted out a little more than we did when I graduated in 80. No judgment just an observation. I'm sure it's dependent on the school but wonder if others from around my time frame (class of 80) noticed this and felt the same way.
High school was a hard time for me I was a foot shorter than the girls 40 lb overweight with crooked yellow teeth and a bad case of gas the ugliest girl in school would not give me the time of day so predictably I played with myself a lot and over time when blind

I graduated from DHS in 1996 and NO ONE recorded their day like this back then. Most of us didn't own a video camera or we didn't want to bring it to school with us. Wish we had though. The style feels totally normal to me. Kids today are so much more insecure and think they have to act like hot shots all the time. These kids seem more mature.
Yeah I had a camcorder in the 90s, but it was my dads big bulky 80s camcorder, like the one from Back to the Future. I didn’t feel comfortable carrying that to school in 1993, but I could have gotten away with it in 1989. After 1990, camcorders got a lot smaller.

It’s very interesting looking at this video and seeing how much BG has changed from 1993 till now. I graduated in 2022 and let me tell you those orange lockers aren’t there anymore and we didn’t go to our lockers after every class. We carried our backpacks around all day and only put our coats in our lockers and I only did a few times because our choir director Mrs. Utley had hangers for us to hang our coats up. This makes me wish I went to BG back then to see how it changed now. Also the field house doesn’t have tile anymore. It was renovated twice since 1993 I believe. At first it had a green and red track and now it has a blue and orange track for our colors. Also the office is in the front of the school by the main entrance now. Not by the back of the school anymore. They also added the music section for band and orchestra when I was a freshman in 2018. Though everything else is pretty much the same. What a time it was in high school. I wish I could go back but I’m also very thankful where I am now being a year graduated.
