@HolisticPlantHealth Thanks for leaving your feedback & experiences with this machine! Very helpful for others, as you've been using it day to day and we just take them out for test drives :) - Kat
@CrankyGoatBC It's just really different; the Ena is going to make an Americano, which will be stronger in flavor in some ways, but less caffeine. I think that if you love drip coffee you might want to stick to that prep method as the Americano isn't a straight across translation. It is nice to do cup by cup, though, if you find that a pot of drip is usually too much. - Kat
I have one of those. It's 2020 now and the grinder JUST QUIT after all these years! Looking for how to take it apart to see if I can fix it. But this is an amazingly well-built machine.
What's missing here is how long the coffee stays hot (forget warm). Is it an insulated carafe? Is it glass lined? What is claimed about the stay-HOT (not merely warm) time?
Pros: It does grind very well and consistently. It does brew to the right temp. It does keep a good temp. it is easy to clean. So well to the point I would call it the best drip machine even without the grinder and the 2 together make it the best.
My wife and love a good cup of coffee / americano. We rarely have any "fancy" coffee or just an expresso. My question - what are your thoughts on the Capresso CoffeeTEAM TS versus Jura's ENA 4? Is the express / americano from the ENA a better cup of coffee???
Agree on the ventilation issue. In addition mine also leaks out the bottom. The grinder is way too loud compared to the old CoffeeTeam Plus we had before buying the new CoffeeTeam TS model. Anyone know if they fixed the condensation, leaking, or noise issues?
Do you guys service these? I have the 464 capresso and purchased it a couple of days ago at a garage sale. Today I plugged it in, added water, pressed brew....nothing. The lights are on but after some time I unplugged it and placed it on the garage floor. Even if it is working, (maybe I was just not waiting long enough for it to do something), I still would like a checkup. Do you have a rate for this service?
It makes excellent coffee but I’ve had two break on me within a matter of the year. They are horribly horribly constructed. Do not buy these coffee makers

Does the heating plate shuts off after the brewing is complete? I feel the coffee only get to 150 degrees F.

@Diffrentjamsith SCAA is 195 - 205, depending on the coffee bean type. - Kat
