I envy you very much. He is my favorite pianist. I bought all his CDs and DVDs. When he has played Prokofiev with the Berlin Philharmonic under the direction of maestro Seizi Osawa, I fell in love with his dexterity and his great talent as a pianist.
I was brought to Yundi by a melody which I had in my head for years, I searched and searched for it's name, and I found out is was a Chopin....... I searched youtube for good versions of it but Yundi had the best one!
una maravillosa partitura del portentoso Verdi pero si añadimos la irrupciòn de List, para quedarnos extasiados y amirados de la pagina musical lograda, simplemente maravillosoclaro y hay que añadir la prodigiosa interpretación de Yundi
How does this compare with Shura Cherkasshy`s version ??? About on a par as far as I can gather from what I have heard, alhtough Yundi Li is probably more flamboyant than Cherkassky
Well, I have to say that his technique is perfect!!!!!!! but he completely doesn't understand the music, it seems like he even never watched the original opera!!!! especially the duke's part, it should be a from bottom of the heart, not so much rubato!!! but for all, this is a great technique play!!
Zheng Xu I was going to say the same thing. His phrasing is not good; it’s not singing, it’s just a technical stunt. As you said, he clearly doesn’t know the original work. This unfortunately is all too common amongst pianists who play these operatic paraphrases. For example you hear so many Norma fantasies that bear no kinship to the opera. It’s disappointing.
nearly perfect. the best version in the world so far.
Breathtaking! Somewhere Liszt is smiling and saying "Hmm. Quite good."
As soon as I know his performances I fall in love with his piano class music.
The best version ever
France 2004, my favorite version

据我所知李云迪弹这首乐曲之前做了大量深入的研究,看了很多资料包括歌剧诗歌等等。远比你要想象的多,也许他的理解和你不一样吧。

I hate the camerawork.

기교적인 부분은 좋네요
Good performance. Not brilliant, just good.
