- Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my channel! I am very excited to be working with neon colours today! They make me happy lol
If you are a soaper and would like to try this recipe yourself, I will add it below, along with some links to where I get some of my ingredients. Note: I do not receive anything for these mentions. These are just a few of the places I like to shop for supplies. If you know of any good places to get neat soap making supplies, let me know! I'm always interested in finding new ingredients to try.
Please don't attempt to make this recipe until you have an understanding of how to make cold process soap and the safety measures that are a necessary part of the craft. There are many tutorials out there whether online, in a library, or in a class, that you can use to prepare yourself to make soap safely and successfully. If you are already a soaper and have the knowledge and equipment needed to proceed, enjoy!

Amazon has oodles of molds too!
Before you begin, please always double check ingredients in a lye calculator for safety. Typos happen! Also, this gives you the chance to use your own water of oils ratio, and super fat %
Add lye to water, mix thoroughly and bring to room temperature
Melt oils together, mix thoroughly and bring to room temperature
Add lye water to oils and bring to trace with an emersion blender
Add fragrance and mix in well.
Being careful not to overfill your mixer, pour batter in batches into a stand mixer to whip in bubbles so your bars will float. This step is optional, and can be skipped if you choose.
Separate four small portions of batter and add neon colours. Mix in well.
Add charcoal powder to the majority of batter and mix in well.
Fill two loaf molds with main batter and drop pour coloured batter into the black base. I like to save the scrapings to add to the tops at the end for a better design on top.
Using a coat hanger tool, and a swirl pattern of your choice (I used a descending figure eight and an extra swoop on the way back up) give your bars a swirl!
Scrape out your soap dishes across the tops of your loaves and apply a figure eight swirl to the tops of the loaves with a chopstick or coffee stir stick.
Wrap, or oven process at approximately 170 degrees until loaves reach about 155 degrees or are fully gelled.
Set overnight and cut into desired bar size when loaves have hardened up sufficiently (about 18-24 hours)
Cure for 4-6 Weeks
Enjoy!
Thank you for your interest in my small business!
Have a wonderful day!
I like the way you explain so clearly your procedures and where to get supplies, etc. But still, you have a talent that not everyone possesses. Thanks for making these beautiful soaps. They last long and they work well in my water.
Thank you so much! I’m happy you are enjoying them ❤️

Haha, I love your background music 🎶 😂💃
Thank you!☺️❤️
Lol, I wanted something a little more lively to go with the soap. But if I’m being honest, now it kind of reminds me of Austin Powers! And to tell you the truth, so do the colours! 🤣 Maybe I misnamed it 🤪
@@MerulaSoaps ahaha, you're right! It does sound like the international man of mystery 🤣
