Why is Wutong apologizing to this mean woman who treated her like she was dirt under her shoes 👞. I thought Wutong told Li Zhongmou that she was no longer submissive and gullible but yet here she is apologizing to the mean 🤔 mother-in-law for making her worry. In my opinion Li Zhongmou did not sufficiently apologize to Wutong either ,He basically said he was sorry with no explanation. Mother-in-law should be asking for forgiveness not just saying that she hope Wutong doesn't hate her.

I had a lot of sympathy for her at first but later on, I understood even his mother. She was lucky that she was a good mum, and this is why he finally developed some feelings for her.
