Having served in an Air Force Air Transportation Squadron I have participated in a dignified transfer ceremony, it’s one of those things that unless you have been there in person it’s almost impossible to fully explain the experience, it’s a physically , mentally and emotionally draining experience. Because this is real life, not a movie or television show. My thoughts of Peace and Comfort are with Sgt Fosters Family during this very difficult time in their lives.
With great respect and condolences, based on two decades of military service, I hope Sergeant Foster’s family, friends, neighbors, classmates and comrades-in-arms will take forever solace in his service and his sacrifices to provide a better, more free and more peaceful world.
What an Honor to carry your fallen brother in arms home to his family. May they be honored with the same reverence and tender mercy for sacrificing so much for us all. There is no greater honor than to lay down your life for others, except to be the family that must bear the tremendous loss of such a deserving hero. How can a nation ever show you the amount of gratitude and respect we have for you all. A special courtesy for his mother. Strength, Honor and Courage
