I will def agree about your "happy place". We feel the same way when we are out in the mountains. Nice fire! Surprised that anyone within smelling distance didn't show up at dinner time!! Yum!

Haha! I know! It smelled as good as it tasted. "Happy Place" for sure. When we come back from camping it resets our attitudes. We just feel so much better. Thanks for watching! :)

We go there a couple times a year. In the winter we stay a week and do day trips around the area, Cherokee Rock City, Cathedrial Caverns, Monto Santo State Park in Huntsville, visit the space center and "The Stone Door", just across the state line in tennessee, TVA Raccoon Mountain Pump Storage facility, Chattanooga National Military park and rafting on the Ocoee River

Wow AL! You guys get all over the country! Loved getting to see your packing for the trip as well! Tent repair done like a pro! Looks like a fantastic tent set up!
Agree on the happy place - we are ALWAYS happiest outside!
Loved the jack o lantern addition to the outside of the tent!

I saw you pack that fan up and thought it looked familiar! 😂 Thanks for the shout-out, Glenna!! Really enjoyed this! The chili looked delicious! Watching part 2 now... 👍⛺

No problem! Thanks for the recommendation- it really came in handy. We’ll definitely be taking the fan with us in the warmer and transitional months. It also keeps its charge very well which is an additional bonus. 👍👍

I know it's been a while but do you remember what camp spot number this was?

    • @GlennaRedcliffe

We think this is camp number five. One of our favorites. ☺️

Thanks for the video. Been looking for a good primitive camping spot in Alabama, are the campsites generally pretty spread out? I hate camping where everyone is on top of each other.

You and me both! Most of the campsites are spread out. You can check out this video to get a better idea. ua-cam.com/video/QM1RJtWvspw/v-deo.html
We never camp on holiday weekends and it’s first come first serve so if you can get there on Thursdays, you can choose your own spot.
