I'm familiar with it since i was about 7/8, through a few separate primary school visits. I don't know for others but i'd guess that, around those times(2001-2006) at least, it was a popular spot for low cost local inner-city school visits for the C.S.D.M(french-speaking school board).
I have to admit... These videos are really cool. Allowing those of us who live here but don't know shit about our own island to discover all of these things. It's COOOLLL
I remember going there with my class. School trips where different back then lol must of been 1st grade? Around 1986? I remember we were supposed to go a really narrow passage and we had to climb up? I was like NOPE. So I stayed behind with a teacher. No regrets. But cool to know those caves exist
Oh man I used to walk by that cave every day walking home for school I never knew it was an old cave I just thought it was some old mining facility or something
Most of Canada could live in that if we converted the caves into living spaces...I got my place and everyone else has there's I'll see my people where we all know about first meeting in the map room after the power plant is up and running power to the facility....
That's cool, I did not know about that cave in Montreal.
Damn, I've lived in Montreal for almost a year and I've never heard of this! Definitely gonna check it out in the summer!
