Yes I totally understand that the primary motivation is monetary. But still, when you want to get away from oil, buy a manhatten, invite all the business in the world, you automatically end up with westernized lifestyle, and this brings liberalisation, you gotta just deal with that then and there is no turning back. MBS tries to do this with SA now, but there I learned is much more friction with the local population. Maybe simply because SA has 36M locals and UAE only 1M. A de facto liberalisation thru the back door by a centralized power is interesting, because as a westerner we always assume centralized powers as moving towards being less liberal, and not the opposite, albeit for primarily monetary reasons. In a way this is western cultural colonisation thru soft power (= attractiveness of western liberal lifestyle coming piggyback with the business)
Are there any job opportunities, internships, or colleges/scholarships that I could join, because I truly believe in this cause, and that it'll change the world.
You don't invest in the future by building 2,000 of the world's tallest skyscrapers in the worst part of your country for no reason. Take all of that money, and build labs, factories, development infrastructure. Things that look terrible where people do the hard work of creating the future.
I really enjoyed listening to Majid and Eric and how they simplify the complex ideas. Great job 👏💚

Are the properties also free for those who haven't received an affirmative "promise" yet?
The Line will house all of the workers for the Ulta Wealthy living at the Resorts. Right?
The Line is the pit where all of SA's money is buried.
