I’m worried about A & M as well. Mike Elko is a defensive minded coach & he’s familiar with the program, having already coached there before.
Oklahoma is another team to be worried about. Brent Venebales will have the defense salty by the end of the season. I’m not saying that these games aren’t winnable, because they are.
At the same time, these are 2 teams that you definitely shouldn’t overlook.😅

No one should overlook any team, I don't care if it's Vandy. As for A&M and Oklahoma, I think it won't be a scheme issue but more of a personnel issue. LSU has a lot more star talent than them and will be more aggressive under Blake Baker. I don't see either being a loss. I could be wrong but I think we play A&M in college station and Oklahoma in baton rouge. Oklahoma has never played in BR before which is very tough for anyone to play there. How beat up will they be by the end of the season and we have the mental edge of being undefeated all time against OU in the last 20yrs I believe we played them 3 times.

10-2 is possible, but 9-3 is more realistic. Maybe I’ll think differently once I see what the defense is capable of doing.😅

10-2 is the floor when you look at the schedule. The defense has already taken a massive leap this off season from last year at this time. Now how much they improve from fall camp to game 1 will determine if they become a top 50 overall defense. Compared to what, 128 overall last season? That's plenty good enough to go 10-2 or better this season as the offense will be within a top 10 overall offense.

The best 2 things that LSU has going for them in 2024: Experienced, veteran offensive line & a favorable schedule.😅

I slightly disagree. It's more than 2 things and I believe the best things they have are Continuity in offensive coaching staff, upgraded elite defensive coaching staff, an veteran QB, and elite WR room, a extremely physical and fast RB room, their elite OL, their elite Pass rushers, and what is now said to be the best group on the entire team as the LB room with Harold Perkins, West Weeks, Whit Weeks and Greg Penn. Then they have a favorable schedule which is why it looks like the floor will be 10-2 this season with National Championship being the ceiling. I'm just glad they will have that dawg in them this season to help what will be a top 10 offense.
